DislikedThe golden rule, in my opinion, is that it doesn't really matter that much if an indicator is good or bad, but rather how good or bad it is compared with what the market expected, that's a good starting point. After that, most of the time it is still a guessing game for me, it probably takes years of observation to get a good feeling how a pair reacts to the main releases.
Hope it helps a bit.Ignored
DislikedI think trading fundamentals succesfully and precisely is very hard. I am an economist myself and work, in fact, with macroeconomics so I think understand the basic correlations of major macroeconomic indicators and exchange rate rather well, and I still can't figure out most of the price movements after indicators are released.

DislikedWhat I have noticed over time is that there is an action and reaction on the news. I try to be out 15 minutes before the news and wait 15 minutes after the news to see where price is really going. Price will usually make an initial move up/down and then start to settle into a trend. That's my take on it anyway.
I never trade NFP Fridays. Have lost my butt more than once trying to figure that one out.Ignored
