Still Basketting

How are the offiline charts supposed to work? I mean does the price change tick by tick like normal charts?

For me, it seems that the chart doesn't get updated unless I refresh it.
Sometimes I even have to restart MT4.

Any idea?

yes it works like the normal charts, but it derives its tick from the normal chart where you put the basketv6 indicator. Therefore that normal chart must not be closed

see what I mean in the pix my basketv6 is on the red box pairs

if your chart history is not complete use this script.
just drag it on any normal chart and wait for it to finish
it would force a download of the chart data and your charts
would update fine.

it is a script and should go in your mt4/experts/scripts folder

Hi Kos,

I came accross this thread and I must say I am quite intruiged by your method.
I see you currently open buys/sells with 0.1 lot sizes on a micro account.How much money must you have in your account in order to open all the buys/sells at once with this lot size.The problem comes in on the leverage supplied by the broker and with Oanda they only provide 50:1 as maximum which only allows me to open 1 transaction at 0.1 lot size on account with $200.

Do you recommend a different broker then?

Thanks for the indicators and the template.
If I have done and understood everything correctly, I must run the buy script once I see the Green bar on the VQ and the blue HAS bar, and the sell script on the red bars, is it not?
And I may use the close all script If I want to force close all the trades (either in profit or loss) or use the EA to manage?

Thanks for your feedback.
I did as you said but with no luck still.

I made sure my GBPJPY 15m chart that has the Basket indicator is open and running and also upplied the script to update the history.

My offline chart still doesn't move. Even the new period bar is not showing. I have to restart MT4 to see the new bar which again doesn't move unless I refresh or restart

Anybody facing the same issue?

Try checking "Allow DLL imports" for the Basketv6 indicator.
Hi again,

It would be great to have your EA for closing and reversing positions when HAS colour change happens, since some people like me still sleep a few hours a day.......

If your pairs have an extension like EURUSDm you must edit the script file and add the m to the end of the pairs

the account I trade is not micro its classic.

I trade
0.01 x 14 on a 500 USD micro account that should be 0.14 lots 11.2% risk
0.02 x 14 for a 1000 USD micro account 0.28 lots 11.2% risk

On classic its another kettle of fish
0.10 x 14 for a 10,000 USD classic account 1.40 lots. 5.6% risk

that is my own recommendation anyway, you are free to come up with yours. Julius recommended 0.10 for 5000 that is risking 10% is too risky for me.

But Hear this, I have never hit SL of -560 pips on 15min TF because before it changes to that point HAS would have changed color and the trade would have been stopped.

Good to see your post and thanks for giving me a hand in the explanation

I sincerely hope so too, if they drive me nuts I simply switch to stealth mode again. That is why I advised they say on the sideline first to observe things before posing questions.

Hi hinnavaru!

You've done it correctly, now for the VQzz since we are appllying 60min on a 15min charts that means we have four 15mins bars in one 60mins bar so what that translates to is that you have to wait for the 4 VQzz bars to form. and when the 5th one comes up that means the its set on 1hr TF

Then pull the trigger, drag your scripts. the the 2protectprofitEA would carry on from there.
