Why dont you post your indicators and template instead of making people read those threads?
sorry sir!
are you angry? please don't be angry, but if you can't wait, go to the link at the first post and get them there, I posted them in a .zip folder last year there. only slight modifications. and I want to arrange them well before sticking them here.

look for basket v6 and go thru the process of getting your offline chart work first.

Good luck, Kos! I have a keen eye on your experiment.

Nowadays, I gradually believe it might be that the large (very very large) TP instead of selected-pairs brings the success/profit.

Kos, thanks for starting another basket thread.... Not much activity over at the old threads anymore....

Would you mind to share your settings for HA smooth...? Still period 6 method 2, period 2 method 3?

Cheers

CREATE OFFLINE CHART

open any chart for the TF you want to create
drag the basket v6 indicator onto that chart
enter the TF e.g 15 in the TF input point
click ok

come to the main menu of mt4
click on file-> open offline
you will find #kos#14 15 as one of the pairs
double click on it and it will open as one of
your charts

NOTE: if your history is not correct the chart
may look jumbled, close mt4 and reopen, it
should look correct if still not then you will
need an indicator that forces history download
to update your history.

NOTE: Also you must ensure that the 14 pairs
are all in your marketwatch window or just right
click on the market watch window and click SHOW ALL.
Then later you can decide to HIDE ALL.

Apply the template on that new 15min offline chart
Thats all.

For the VQ 1hr to work on your 15min chart you have
to make sure the 60 min offline chart is open too
that means you repeat the step above for a 60min
offline chart. else the VQ will not show up on 15min chart

IF ANYTHING ABOVE IS STRANGE TO YOU IN ANYWAY STAY OUT FOR NOW
BE ON THE SIDELINE AND WATCH

I am beginning to see some familiar names now like

mobthehop, charvo, diceman555, shiva, where are the others probably in stealth or lurking mode

I thought I was still the only basket trader remaining on this FF board.
thanks charvo! for wishing me luck
You are all welcome

As I was sorting out thing with the scripts, dont know what I did and the profit locker just stopped the buy basket out now now @ +140 USD not bad anyway for 30 mins work. if I had reversed USDCHF and EURGBP it would have been more than that.

have to wait for a chance to join the train again or just wait out

hi all

the 2protectAccountEA is a decompiled work and I don't want to post the source here, but with a little search here in FF you will get the source so that you can calibrate for yourself how you want your locking to be done.
the one I posted is calibrated for a micro account.

I mistakenly used it on the classic account I am trading that is why it closed the profit out.

see what I mean:

if (profit >= 6000.0) CloseAll();
if (profit <= locked) CloseAll();
if (profit >= 500.0 && locked == 431.0) secured = 481;
if (profit >= 460.0 && locked == 411.0) secured = 441;
if (profit >= 430.0 && locked == 381.0) secured = 411;
if (profit >= 400.0 && locked == 341.0) secured = 381;
if (profit >= 360.0 && locked == 311.0) secured = 341;
if (profit >= 330.0 && locked == 281.0) secured = 311;
if (profit >= 300.0 && locked == 241.0) secured = 281;
if (profit >= 260.0 && locked == 211.0) secured = 241;
if (profit >= 230.0 && locked == 181.0) secured = 211;
if (profit >= 200.0 && locked == 141.0) secured = 181;
if (profit >= 160.0 && locked == 111.0) secured = 141;
if (profit >= 130.0 && locked == 81.0) secured = 111;
if (profit >= 100.0 && locked == 61.0) secured = 81;
if (profit >= 70.0 && locked == 41.0) secured = 61;
if (profit >= 50.0 && locked == 31.0) secured = 41;
if (profit >= 40.0 && locked == 21.0) secured = 31;
if (profit >= 30.0 && locked == 11.0) secured = 21;
if (profit >= 20.0 && locked == 8.0) secured = 11;
if (profit >= 15.0 && locked == -999999.0) secured = 8;
if (secured > locked) locked = secured;

if it sees 150 pips it will lock 80 pips
and so on and so forth

THIS IS TOO CLOSE FOR ME.
all am interested in is not losing a trade after it went +150 pips - BE. As for trailing I dont like it and if profit is good and PA is stalling I close

Any of Your indicators repaint?
not my indicators, didn't make any of them

they don't repaint, and you have to understand how MTF indicators behave on lower TF and know what repainting means before you claim to see any on VQ

for the offline charts with basketv6

you dont need to open online charts for each offline chart you want to create. Just keep attaching the basketv6 to the same online chart you can have as many as you want on one chart. preferably GBPJPY chart all you need to change is the TF of the basketv6 input point.

Hello Kos,

Thanks for sharing this with us.
How are the offiline charts supposed to work? I mean does the price change tick by tick like normal charts?

For me, it seems that the chart doesn't get updated unless I refresh it.
Sometimes I even have to restart MT4.

Any idea?

Thanks,
