Does anyone know of where I can find an Fractals indicator with an alert that will sound whenever a new fractal apears?

I think if you posted the ind someone may be able to help...

Fractals indicator is one of the Bill Williams indicators that comes with MT4. I have not been able to find where the code is in the program (ran search and everything). Perhaps Metaquotes is hiding it in the program some how.

Maybe what I am asking for can not be done since I have found other posts from others asking for the same thing and they never getting answered.

Yup, it can be done. I don't think it has though. You do realize that a fractal can't be identified until multiple additional bars have passed, right?
here is the codes for Fractals indicator.

tesla is right, the code uses [i-1] and [i-2] which gives signals after two bars passed.

it is best to code the alert into EA.

Yes I know it needs 2 bars before a fractal shows but thats ok with me my system I am testing works off the bar that forms after the fractal bar.

If one of you could get me a fractal alert I would be most greatful.

With much searching and searching I finally found the Fractals alert on the Metaquotes website.

Had one signal this morning just now at 10:30 PST am on the EUR/JPY. It happened fast and i had to hit the trigger right away scoring 8 pips. It did go on to make about +15 pips from just the one candle. I got +8 of it. A good scalp. That's the only signal i got this morning NY session that had an IB. Good stuff, Paris

Hi all.Is theare any way to make fractals with email alert.I was trying but it wont work, or i cant find it anywheare.All others email alerts are working fine so my set up of metatrader is ok.My coding was wrong.
The setup is the hard part. Adding SendMail() to your code is the easy part. Just put it near the call to Alert(). Be sure to check the journal tab for any errors.
