What's the system you use.. m15 with h1 confirmation? Your charts look very intriguing. You use heat maps & RSI as well... As primary signals or confirmations?

How do you find trades you make in asian session?

Apologies in advance for the 20 questions, I have only ever gathered data from EUR/USD so I'm a little ignorant to the other options out there ...

Don't worry, i love to answer any questions you have.. the first thing is.. i don't have to do any 60 and 5 or 4 hour and 30 minute.. instead of going back and forth i use an awesome little indicator that fed77 gave me. it's called signal bars. i will post it here for you guys. it basically tells me the direction of the overall trends over 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, and daily charts in 1 simple little box on my screen. i definitely use RSI and heat maps ! i love them, here's the links once again if you didn't read my previous post about my system.:

I trade about 1 to 3 hours after New Zealand opens(lol i get anxious and impatient haha) i NEVER trade the US session. anywhere between new zealand and and the close of the euro session. with my way of trading you can trade whenever you want, wich is so awesome about this way of doing it.. if it wasn't for symphonie, we wouldn't be able to do this ! but i still dont like trading the US session, too many whipsaws and indecision

I like to keep multiple pairs open because it helps to keep an open mind about what i can trade. i use the RSI to see what's up and what's down as far as movement in the past based on the RSI's hourly chart. sorry i forgot to mention, i trade 1 hour charts only. if i see price action goin a little crazy i'll change to the chart that "signal bars" says is in the opposite direction(one of the bars will turn red or green) so i can see what the issues are.. another indicator i use is demark trendlines for entry. if symphonie gave me a strong sell or buy signal but the price isn't above or below our demark trendlines then i'll wait until we have a breakout(usually on the 1 hour chart)





And yes i definitely use money management ! i use the 1/2 ratio and i only risk %5 of my account at any one time

personally i dont think there is any competition with traders, i dont see any reason why i shouldn't help you guys be the best you can with symphonie, and if you guys need anything from me let me know. i'd love to help anyone who asks


PS: this way of trading, is on a daily basis.. you open a trade on an hourly signal and expect to sit there most of the day ! unless you have some issues where you didn't get in at the right time, then you might jump out til you find another trade opportunity

Just got back from playing some soccer in the park myself. Do you live in NZ? My flatmate is moving there tomorrow, to Christchurch.

Here's my current view of EURUSD, left to right m5, h1, h4 with HTF conf.
I did a little bit of doodling too, but I'm not very good at trend lines really.

Also anyone that can code that reads this - see what I mean about genesis matrix and the way it paints the HTF matrix i have there? I want my symphonie matrix to do that, using symph indicators, don't care about the repainting.

I would do it myself but I don't know how

Would anybody like to weigh in on my charts? Eval? I always look forward to reading your fundamental analysis

Evaluator's data for that one week is pretty indicative of the long term results though I would say.. here's some data from friday's entire trading day until now:

m5 signal to signal - 16 trades / 5 profit / 11 loss / 32% / 33 pips

Symphonie 60-5 + Pivot + Sessions - 1 trade / 1 profit / 0 loss / 100% / 100 pips

You could do some backtesting pretty easily yourself, just draw a vertical line in for every...

technically speaking:
overall we are bearish up until the daily and 4 hour wich are still showing the recent bullish moves up.. i would look for a break past the wedge we are forming on the 4 hour chart.


i stopped trading the euro/usd after the recent awkwardness in the news with all the QE bullshit they keep talking. people dont know wich way to trade on it.. so im gonna hold out until i have some firm confirmations of trend.

Have you tried LFH trading simulator? Try running that with the template on page 1. You will notice the repainting and you can do testing with that. I think you will be surprised to see how little the repainting affects trades, especially with higher timeframe confirmation.

Repainting happens, yes, but it very rarely affects the outcome of the trade.
So much rhetoric about the repainting which in my opinion is a non-issue.

I tried simulator many times but it is crashing my platform, i don't know what is the issue. But any way I am back to trading from today I will be seating home every day, so that is not a problem.
I am agree about repainting, I am trading H4 and repainting doesn't affect very much. I will try to refresh matrix every candle, want to see what effect i will have

OK cool. I think LFH can be a bit like that, depending on your PC hardware. Try and get it working though it's one of my main tools for testing.

Have you gone long on H4 today?

I assume that will be the call for this session, but for now m5 and h1 are telling me different, so i wait for now...

My mentions of genesis are only cause I use it for display purposes.

I am trying to change that so I only use symphonie indicators but like ive state previously the matrixes give pretty much identical signals

well all i know is that symphonie works for me. so that's what i use. if you study up on my way of trading with symphonie, you will notice some seriously profitable results


dude, you should seriously try trading different currency's lol.. eur/usd is gonna be a while before the trend is established. for now it's all scalp

oh ok, just asking...


if you try my method of trading, things will get alot easier for you. at this point all i have to do is watch fundamentals.. the news (bloomberg and dailyfx.com).. the technicals are all setup for me.
