I've been wandering around this forum for a while and been trading for around a year now. Still learning lots of stuff. I like to help others so posting this.

I call this the Gann Price vibration system. It is not a system by itself but is more a confirmation system. Add this to whatever method you trade and it will help you for sure.
It's based on the gann wheel. From a low you can predict possible points where the market will vibrate to. Same with a high. Price will either bounce off, gap through, or blow through these levels. Thats why I call it a confirmation system.
I have attached an excel file in which you input a significant low and a high and it gives you price vibration levels. (remove the decimals when inputing the numbers) eg: 1.4320 would be 14320
Then just add the lines to you mt4 chart and you have areas to watch.
Sometimes you may just have a low you can still plot higher levels and predict vibration areas.
It works on any timeframe. I personally like to take the daily and draw my lines so I can use them interday for a long time without having to change them.
  1. It's also interesting to know that many times price reverses at these levels to the tick.
  2. Also note that when there are 2 lines in close proximity the area is stronger.

Update 1
Added a video showing how to do it. Sorry for the low quality. Hope you get the idea.

Great stuff mate.

This stuff u just shared is way better than lagging indicators. U know these levels in advance and u can prepare for them.

I hope an indicator can be made for these levels so that it can save time doing the calculations.

Am subscribed....keep it coming.

Happy trading.

Your xls file is protected, I cannot input high or low price in your xls sheet. Could you send another file ?

Support resistance is the importance factor in trading, no matter what technique you use to find determine it, Using Gann calculation to predict support and resistance is probably the most popular way.

Thanks for share

This is NOT an indicator. This is an excel spreadsheet where you input the high/low and then it calculates the lines for you. It is up to you to enter the lines manually on the chart.

Subscribed and will follow with interest. But I am frankly unclear on how to use your XL file. A step-by-step example with a chart showing where you get numbers to input and then how to plot the levels would be awesome.
Thanks,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the same as Murry Math Lines? I'm not sure how you are calculating your lines on your spreadsheet but I know that Murry Math Lines are based on Gann's formulas. Either way it's good stuff.

Hey Moneydeep

Thanks for sharing. I never could get into Gann, so it's nice to someone having a crack at it.

One question: the way you use the vibration points seems to be like the Fibonacci confluence idea of making extensions, retracements, projections etc. and then looking for areas of confluence; i.e. where several overlap.

Is that about right?

Cheers!

Yes. In itself Gann lines are great but when you have confluence these lines help enormously.
Thats why I mentioned that this is a confirmation system. Just add it to however you trade and watch price action at these levels.

Just went through your Video. Great work Brother! I only trade a small handful of Futures and will back test today. Do you have a favorite TF?

I generally trade forex interday so I take highs and lows from the daily so I don't have to draw them too often. Basically when a high/ low that you drew from is taken out you should re-draw
