the contstrainments many times offer opportunities to catch big moves in the beginning.
Good Point. I've never been able to deal with the insane reversals that don't consolidate/constrain at all. EURJPY just shot up then down out of nowhere.

I was wondering if I can get some clarity on the above in accordance to the rules.
I think touch trades only apply to the 35 and 50 MAs. I didn't see any specifics about how to count bars in the manuals. He did mention "large bars," indicating that if price makes two big consecutive M15 bar moves and is at the 35, try a position away from the 35, unless it goes straight to the 50, then try it there. With the 10 MA, you have to look for a pinbar or doji to close, and I don't think bar counting is a factor there.

Thanks for the reply Agent,

The 35/50 are more about angles more so than number of bars.... or so the thread says.

Clay does state that the larger the bars the better the bounce (generally) however, I am a little unsure of where you start counting the bars.

If its taken three/four solid bull bars (in this example) with NO intermitant bear bars, I get that it's not really a good trade, however if those three/four bull bards are interspersed with bear bars, where does one start the count?

Hi,

Any body knows a Script that I can use to close half of my opend orders in a particular currency pair.
I think we need to refind our exits (actualy thats what he was concentrating last).
So what I am going to do is to close half of my trade after it hits my profit target and make the remaining to break even and allow it to run accorning to his exit method.
please let me know if you know any script that allow to close half of the trade.

Thanks James16 and Group.

The impression I got from his screen captures was that any significant intermittent bar resets the count. I think 5 and 6 in your example would be 1 and 2.

Suranga,

One thing you might try in the meantime is the following:

Rather than opening one trade, open two. The just close the earlier one, which there is a script for. THough, be careful as that particular scrtip closes your first trade, regardless of which pair. So, if you are trading only one pair, it WILL work for you, if you trade more than one, it is not reliable.

That said, if you open two trades then its easy enough to close one manually.

Regards

The JPY pairs are going 2 up and bouncing of the 10... we should clarify on this.

EDIT:
Three Trades Live Examples pdf gives examples of Touch being fine on the 10 EMA with the two bar rule and with the EMA at a sharp angle. EURJPY is setting up for it again right now, but it is making higher lows, so I'm not sure it's valid this time

hi leemonk,

it is a two bar, i have seen such times without number on the former thread, the 4th bar is down and the 5th and 6th reverse and the market moved more than 15 pips in the direction of the market, and the angle is greater than 45. it is by the rule

Anyone have any thoughts on where trades were for GBPUSD on Tuesday the 11th this week? I'm looking back and it looks like drawdown central.

MY VIEW ON TUESDAYS CHART

Please note that the white line is the 1hr 62 and its 15minute equivalent.

This was used in both examples when in confluence with other things.

I do not know if these can be considered 'by the rules trades'.

There were other entries but I am unsure of how to trade 15min PA on 1hr lines. If you look there are 15minute bounces of the 1hr 10ema.

Regards

Nice picks. I was also baffled by that last huge run upwards. I don't see an entry for that. Maybe off of the 5 EMA?

I would 'imagine', to tied up to check now, that the 1.48 might have been retested after the large drop at point no.2

Though, take what I say with a pinch of salt. I am still very much learning the ropes....across theboard!

Was jsut trying to see if I can get the whole of the last thread into a PDF but its gonna come in at a whopping 45/50 megs I think!

I have almost finished it, but how do we keep it alive? What does it need? 1 post every week/month?

I got all the PDFs from it. Is there a lot of info in the thread that is not in the PDFs?

I'm still confused as to why it shut down since this thread is my first contact with the system. What happened?

Suranga,
Rumor is a friend of the thread is preparing such a script. We will find out when he post that.

Puntalara,
I would spend screen time (both DEMO and simulator) before hoping for much more at the beginning.

GU:

1. Keep your eyes open for a good bounce off the H1 EMA10
2. Same for M15 EMA35

If they happen before US close, I will take them. TP=15-25 pips SL=15 pips (short of course....)
