Hi, I'd like to have a discussion about the current way that news are released.
Right now, we get scheduled news which are mostly embargoed, meaning it can't be released to anyone until a certain time. I believe this is enforced by the government?
Will this way of releasing news be changed in the future? Is it possible for news to be released at random, non-scheduled times? What are the reasons for and against this idea?
Will news always have some form of impact on the markets? I'd like to think yes.
Anyone have any information about how news were released in the past? 10, 20 years ago?
What do you guys think?
