Disliked{quote} I don't think that brokers "freeze" platforms, probably you don't have a strong computer or you just use indicators bad-coded that eat up all your ram and/or cpu and during high volatility of course mt4 will freeze or crash. Nothing to do with the broker.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thank you for your reply. So far you seem to be right. There is the probability that couple days from now it would start to freeze again. I would check to see if that is the pattern.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have some very demanding indicators (like they take 2gb of ram and a lot of cpu), however my computer is pretty good.. Now, from when this windows 10 come, my mt4 started to freeze in them and crash too! I still don't know if it's windows 10 or the updated mt4,but i feel your pain. Hopefully one day they will fix this issue.Ignored
Disliked..That was the worst demo account experience ever P.S: If a broker got the MT4 Virtual Dealer plugin, they can definitely freeze traders' platform...That's a fact, believe it or not.Ignored
Disliked{quote} ........... if we have a template with many indicators very heavy for the cpu/ram, just by loading that template mt4 will crash (windows10 make it crash, probably it see a high resource request building up in a small time and decide to kill the program).Ignored
Disliked{quote} While it might be true that brokers can intentional freeze their platform if they want to why would they decide to freeze a demo platform for on a newly created account? It could be that they have problems with their platform but in this case it clearly was not intentional or malicious behavior. They certainly are not afraid of them losing demo money and the new person opening an account with them because he felt the adrenaline rush. I had 2 small disconnects with Oanda during the past 6 months but I haven't had any trades opened with them...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Go with INSTAFOREX. they willnot freeze your platform because they have over 20 servers in EACH of the different locations they are e.g in US,UK SINGAPORE etc etc. chances of getting mt4 frozen in such a setup is next to not possible and it will never happen. That's a very big amount of backup servers to help you in smooth trading especially if you are a scalper. If one server has a problem mt4 can rescan the next available server and you are transferred to it.also Instaforex setup of redundant servers make sure that you get the best latency...Ignored
