Disliked$15 per side is a tremendous ripoff. The actual e-mini futures on the CBOT and CME are $2.40 per side via reputable brokers (interactivebrokers, etc).
NorthFinance should really be avoided, they operate without regulations in Cypress. CFDs should be avoided too for that matter, no regulation, no central exchange, no counterparty risk control, etc.
Why so hung up on MT4? The list of great charting packages spans far beyond MT4. Ensign, SierraChart, QuoteTracker, eSignal, Amibroker, NinjaTrader, just to name a few..Ignored
DislikedIt's 7.50 per side. Plus most reputable brokerages will ask for a $1000 daytrading margin on stock index futures, as opposed to $500 for Mt4 brokers.Ignored
QuoteDislikedAlso, cypress is a tree. Cyprus is a country.
DislikedSo for half the initial deposit, you get to pay 200% higher commissions? That's still a terrible deal..Ignored
DislikedAnyway, I'd be interested in knowing what brokerages offer $2.40 future trades..Ignored

Because I like an indicator named Laguerre, which I know MT4 offers. Plus the availability of custom indicators is large and easy to impement. MT4 is also a good platform. I guess you could keep opening demo accounts and spending lots of time evaluating countless other platforms. But why do that when you've found one you like. Unfortuntely, there isn't a broker that offers futures for MT4. I have no desire to get involved with CFDs and a broker in Cypress.Ignored
