Dear friends,
I have been trading forex and other instruments for more than five years, and until recently I have not made any profits in forex. As you know by now I am not a discretionary trader, my trading is based on EAs. For that I have learned mql, constructed my EAs, and go on.
But what I want to tell you here is that, letting apart the money involved, forex is a game (obvious!) difficult, dangerous, but a game. What type of game can you think it resembles of ? Is forex more near to poker (90% discretionary) than to chess(90% mechanical) ? I am very fond of chess and bridge, and a not so good poker player.
Let's continue. Imagine forex as a chess game. Well, let's think that we have opened a forex account (the board) and we have many dimensions (pairs and timeframes) on this board. Let's simplify and select only one dimension (4H GBPJPY).
To play this game, imagine that you can select the pieces to play (the EAs), and that these EAs must act coordinately, as in chess. I have developed 4 EAs: TheQueen, TheKing, TheTower and TheBishop, that play the same account on the same board (4H GBPJPY). They have their own magic numbers but they know the magic numbers (and trades) of the other participants and act jointly; they take their actions (opening trades, stacking, hedging, closing, trailing, etc.) in a communicative (strategic) way.
I am finishing now the code that relates to the interrelation of the pieces (EAs) of this game, and will post here for you to play.
Are you ready to play a new exciting forex game ? Stay tuned
José Luis
P.D. If you do not like chess, do not worry. I am preparing a new expert that is actually beginning to learn how to play bridge.
