Is there any way to stop MT4 from trying to connect to their services such as MQL4 Market and MQL5 Community?
I have MT4 on live accounts on a VPS and I have the VPS set up so it doesn't connect to the internet via browser for security reasons. The MT4 terminal connects fine but every time MT4 attempts to connect to their "Market" and "Community" it generates errors and most likely slows down the system by several milliseconds, if it happens while the terminal is trying to execute a trade, it could cause it to miss the original signal.
How can I turn off these attempts by MT4 to connect to services I don't even want? I don't see a way to deactivate some of the useless tabs below the terminal.
Does anyone know how to to this?
This seems to have started recently with their last one or two builds.
