I just installed Ubuntu on my laptop and I'm having a hard time to start the Oanda platform
I'm running the latest version of Ubuntu 64 bit
I downloaded the FXTRADE for linux. It comes in a TAR file after extracting it it becomes a SH file so I don't know what to do with it.
I went to ubuntu software center search and download the first 2 java options. open jdk java 7 runtime and iced tea java plug in.
AS I said I can't install the FXTRADE desktop. So I go the Oanda website and I try to launch the trading platform from there, a window pops and get stuck at 40%
Any idea what is wrong?
Thanks
