Hey guys,
There may or may not be an EA out there that already does this... but if there is i havnt come accross it just yet. I was hoping i could get some help with developing this asap... its very simple.
EDIT: Although not simple enough for me to figure out on my own!!
Every single bar, orders go in to buy a break of the previous bars high +1, or the low -1. If one order is filled, the other is deleted. It would be great to be able to enable the EA to take profit at (A) and to stop the position out at (B). (exernal variables that can be changed).
If an order is still open (TP or SL hasnt been hit) then the EA will not straddle the previous bar, until one of these levels has been achieved. After the TP or SL has been filled, you wait for that bar to close before entering a new straddle. If a bar is an inside bar, the orders will straddle the previous bars high and low, and will not place any new orders untill this bars range has been broken.
Also, is it possible to make it so that the TP and SL are not order driven? Rather, the EA just takes profit or stops you out when the position gets to one of your predefined +/- limits.
One more thing. An external variable for position size.
I have a couple more thoughts on how to make this EA wayyy better, and easier to implement, however i think i have found something which never fails. Ill inform you guys of how ill be traidng it once someone produces a workable EA. Cheers.
Many thanks,
MM
