Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has ever created an indicator that draws the high, low, and midpoint of an SHI channel where they are for the current bar and then leaves them (in other words, one where the past never changes, so you could see where those points where in the past)?
Basically this would end up looking something like a bollinger band, except while the channel was consistent it would have straight lines. Then it would curve up and down when they were changing. I was thinking it could be a useful indicator for backtesting and might be useful for showing price relative to the current trend, and also for floating support/resistance.
Let me know what you think, or if I'm not making any sense. Is anyone willing to help make this to see if it would be useful? I can program a little but I'm not great at MQL.
Thanks,
Cory
