I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in co-developing an open source EA and DLL that could be used to protect intellectual property of EA's ...
In the most basic form ot would be simply
1. a client side EA (that looks to an FTP serve for order signals and executes orders)
2. a server side EA that uploads order signals to a FTP site
3. a DLL that allows the client EA to communicate with the FTP site and verifies the credentials.
If its something that gets generally accepted then it would be a great way for coders to protect IP while allowing end users to test systems. Also gives coders a way to maintain systems and allows users to turn systems on or off at their own discression...Given the ease of decompiling an EA I thin htat this would be a usefull tool for everyone.
