Disliked{quote} a pitchfork may work. i was just curious when he said the 5 times thing. it didnt fit my way of tl thoughts. its not my expertise, i was just wondering at what point should i not trade it as a tl.. i use them rarely unless i am looking for as many reasons as possible for a top or bottom. never alone just as another tool. i dont have a problem with others using them, its just not my way of trading w/o other reasons.Ignored

The presenter claimed (and this fits with what I've observed since) that according to studies they had done, if you have a trendline formed by at least three points, and it is broken, most times price will hit at least the next point on the line.
