Hello guys
I am no computer expert and cannot code. I would like someone to take an idea and mildly tested theory and code something for me.
It goes like this...and I hope I articulate this well enough.
Indis needed are zigzag or fractal and renko charts (I use OVO and not sure it matters)
I would like an EA that sets pending orders based on ZigZag and or Fractals. Once the zigzag or fractal sets an anchor point, a pending order will be initiated. I cannot find one with fractals that works on renkos yet so I am not sure which would be better.
I know there are a ton of these out there in the wild as I have tested most of them, but what I want might be the difference in a winning EA and 'just another losing EA'
I would like an input field that can automatically adjust where the pendings set. An example would be that a zigzag or fractal sets an anchor point and a pending is initiated...I would like an input field that can +/- the pips from the determined anchor point. Meaning that I would like the possibility of adding or subtracting pips to the pending. So on the GJ a pending is initiated at 132.70....and I am running 10 pip renkos....I would set the +/- field to -10 pips to 132.60 and then the pending would set 10 pips lower possibly removing that fact that the original anchor is a hard S/R level
Another difference is that I am trading this on Renko and my experience has been that when an anchor point is determined...it is mostly a S/R level and once the pending has been picked up, it reverses resulting in a stop out.
A couple of other additions that would make this even better would be a "break even" and a "Break even increment" function added in as well. If I am using 10 pip renkos, then I would BE at 10 and set the BEI at 10 resulting in the trailing stop moving up with every completed brick in the right direction (these fields would be adjustable).
I hope that I have explained this well enough and obviously if it is profitable, then all can share!!
I have attached a screenshot of a current zigzag EA and it shows a winner and a loser and with a few annotations by me explaining the concept.
If this first run proves profitable then down the line would like to add money management based on percentage of equity and what-not.
Thank you for taking the time to read and if you are a coder considering this project!
Ken
