Dislikeddo you think you can learn from other people's mistakes without having to experience them yourself?
attached is my template -simpler than ever. i only grab 5-10 pips per trade and rogrammed myself to survive ranging days (like today), which happens 3-5 days each week. my jaw drops whenever the price leaves me (like yesterday). but at least there are no red days. in fact today, 80 pips and more than 15% growth in equity. no losses. my approach to the market is very mechanical. however, i switch off the system trader if there's...Ignored

DislikedDavid Rosenberg's Take On Europe
From David Rosenberg of Gluskin Sheff
MY TAKE ON EUROPE
Europe is a mess, politically, economically, and fiscally. LTRO gave a short lifeline and at the same time bound the ties even more tightly between bank balance sheets and government bond performance. For all the backslapping, LTRO was a failure, pure and simple. Just as QE — for if QE had been a success, nobody would be looking for a third round (more like the fourth).

DislikedOlivia, I'm just using MT4's backtest simulator(maybe he uses sth else), well, our question is, how did you handle MTF in backtesting? take 60-5 as an example, do you think it's possible to backtest it in MT4?
Thanks a lotIgnored
DislikedCompletely off topic but definatly worth a watch in regards to the scientific method and how the idea of proof and scientific proof works. I had to post it in response to the comments of:
"Once something is proved...it's proved!! It doesn't get 'un-proved' over time!!!"Ignored
DislikedI'll be giving the 60-5 method a run through next week as per the rules explained and linked to in post 1. These I will post here as its a system that is completely upto date with the current version of the system being traded by OP.
If thats ok with you guys i'll post those results here for some feedback to see if anyone else here did the same etc, i won't post the results of the old system being done this week.Ignored

DislikedI would appreciate it. I have been trying to slow my stoch down (22,3,3) on my 15M signal chart - but it is still almost always in the over bought/sold area at entry time which leaves me worried that I am getting in too late. I know the stoch can stay in the <20 or >80 area for 100's of pips - but from an entry condition perspective it is not telling me much. Any help, if you get a chance, would probably help me and others who use it. ThanksIgnored
