Disliked{quote} Hello Madmoney. Regarding your first approach , the "attraction", could you at least tell is all of the information for the signal obtained from the price/chart. Do we need something other than price as an information to come to the discovery. At least so we are not on a completely wrong track.Ignored
My first version was based on pure PA and is just the tip of the iceberg, now I have applied other concepts to it, which now seems to predict 100% zone closures (early days still) in a limited time, "TIME" being the major factor.
So far I know one person who has sussed out what I was first using (there maybe more).
Disliked{quote} Hi Madmoney, One thing i need to clarify that your method is different from EURUSDD's right? And from your posts, I think I finally found out how your zones were made But that's just the beginning i guess. Sometimes price go far away and never come back. Or its just me missing something...Ignored
Now that I'm advancing in this concept, it seems to be getting more like Eurusdd's indicator (still early to say), before I would have said no.
DislikedHi MadMoney, Your second level on USD/CAD has been reached about 1 hour ago .... I assume, USD/CAD will go down again next week to reach your third level .... Thanks for your post !!!Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm curious what you use to keep you from trading bad levels like the one highlighted below? Do you care to share a screen shot of you levels from the same time period? The highlighted box shaded area has never been reached since the original level formed. {image}Ignored
The accuracy of the zones have now changed through filtering. Now my zones that appear or marked manually are hit with minimised DD, I might disappear for a while as I'm trading it manually, it needs to be tested further and implemented into code.
Eurusdd has dropped so many golden nuggets in the first few pages of this thread, I find it astonishing I didn't get it before.
Disliked{quote} Madmoney, I think I'm on to something too. And, as you have said, there is some key information in the old Similarity thread. I haven't quite found a solid entry yet, but I am going to have to find some time to code up an indicator. And in actuality, the indicator i have posted here is a decent base to something far greater. Hint: I actually allude to the key in a post I made in the old similarity thread, and didn't even know it! CarlIgnored
I agree with you, there is a deeper concept that could probably be applied to your indicator to make it clinical.
The time factor is simple if your used to similarity and dis-similarity
