DislikedI've taken it reasonably easy thus far tonight with full expectations of finding a trade post NFP. However, I did catch this trade on GBPAUD when price formed a double bottom with the AO sharply higher. It was also near yesterday's low. Managed +29 on the push up right on NY open. {image} And missed this nice trade on EURUSD as I was watching some YT videos! Doh! {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} At the moment I only have one time based chart and note down the important levels for each pair/s. Once I progress back to the 4 monitors I'll be able have a time based chart for each pair.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have tried renko and my problem was always that my plat form was slowing when i opened to many pairs but I'm starting to re think this situation and I owe it to you. I trade divergence any way but it looks so clean with range bars. so your looking for support or resistance levels and then trading divergence in the direction of the trend?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Henn, I'll look for key levels and then see how price reacts to it and then establish if there's a case for a trade. Take GBP yesterday (Monday) where it was just one direction. I took one trade on GBPAUD and lost-20 and that was enough of a lesson to leave any longs alone due to mass GBP weakness. The winnersedgetrading website is a big help in those situations.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Flip flop I'll check out that site. Thanks! I feel like the gbp is only rising on profit taking at the moment. I started shorting it last night with some nice divergence trades in the direction of the trend. at the start of the asian session. Gbp/nzd, gbp/usd, eur/gbp,gbp/chf. Kind of all the eggs in 1 basket but the trades were there so I took them and killed it. gbp/usd and gbp/nzd were great trades. Decent profit on the other 2. If we could find divergence in the direction of the trend more often we would be doing even better as traders....Ignored
