Disliked{quote} I see it, but it seems that the account was killed by the last few trades...my guess is that he increased his risk or made an unsuccessful modification to his method? Anyway, its and interesting concept.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Look into the trade list - they all were yesterdays trades, more than 100 pips in loss.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have looked at the trade list. Thats the thing - i dont understand why he carried trades from 2/11 to 2/12 considering this is a fast "in and out" tactics. Most of the trades on 2/11 were 1-3 minutes, some up to 60 minutes...and most loses were only for a few pips. Why let trades run 100 pips under? My guess he tried a different approach relative to the previous trades. Best, JoshIgnored
DislikedI will keep the trade explorer for a couple of days, as it is a good example of how one can double an account in 2 days and loose it all on the 3rd day. Scalping systems, especially a tick based one, requires your FULL ATTENTION ! Only ONE PAIR at a time. Price Action basic knowledge is a must. Its a tense job. So its better to trade not more that 4 hours a day.Ignored
Disliked{quote} HOw did that happen? Did you walk away from it and forget to set your SL? You were on a nice little streak for a while there...Ignored
To validate a good up move, the Bid line has to cross up the last Ask signal.
To validate a good down move, the Ask has to cross down the last Bid signal.
We can choose to trade it 1 position at a time (less risk), or add new positions on new valid signals.
Entries better be filtered by Higher Time frame (H1), and Daily time frame, so we take only long signals on an bullish day, and only short signals on a bearish day.
DislikedLet's say i want to scalp on GBP/JPY on Global Prime Broker. My spread is about 1.2 to 2.0 pips. I want to trade London and NY sessions. Any suggestions about Minimum Points input?Ignored
DislikedA tick chart can be traded like any other time frame chart. Only difference is Targets and Stops will be smaller, ideally in spread multiples (i.e. SL 3 x spread, target 5 x spread). In normal price behavior, Ask and Bid prices move together, on an up price Ask moves 3 points up, Bid follows by 3 points up and so on. We are looking for abnormal behavior : Bid moves 3 points up, Ask moves 12 points up (Demand higher than supply) Ask moves 3 points down, Bid moves 20 points down (Supply higher than demand). Bid moves 3 points down, Ask moves 7 points...Ignored
Disliked{quote} So You wait with Your entry until the signal is validated or do You enter right at the signal and stay longer in the trade when its validated?Ignored
2- Aggressive Mode:
Please note that I am still practicing this thing, unfortunately I can not dedicate the required screen time, so I am relying on you guys to practice this and come up with additional and maybe better setups.
Once that is achieved, it can be easily built into an EA which can trade multiple pairs simultaneously, and better validate those setups.
