I mean, what do you care?
Let’s assume for a second that I’m the con artist you’re trying to paint me to be. I have no track record and will use every trick in the book to hide that fact.
In the end it still comes down to a decision on whether you personally buy what I’m selling or not.
What it sounds like to me is that you have a purchasing condition requiring me to deliver a track record.
In other words, you’re going to buy something if I deliver the track record, but I’m not aware of anything I’m trying to sell you. I offered what I offered on a take it or leave it basis. You want to negotiate, I don’t, game over.
Why are you still here?
Thing is, I don’t think you want it to be over. You want “something” from me, only you’re afraid to say what.
Let’s look at the options:
1. You want me to admit that I have no track record, presumably so you can out me as a fraud for claiming to have one, which I don’t.
Problem is, I’m not claiming to have one. So you need me to claim I have one, then find it, prove that I lose money, and ultimately… win… what?
A pat on the back from your fellow forum goers?
Well here you go bro, “I’m a fraud!”
Run around to every trading venue you can and link this post.
Just make sure everyone knows it was you who uncovered the mystery!
I need to know where to send the thank you card for all the traffic.
Now what?
That feeling of excitement at having cracked another case will last for, what, a day? Two at most.
Then you’re back faced with the simple truth that you still aren’t getting what you really want.
Your job still sucks, your personal life is disappointing, and despite all the time and effort you put into it, you still can’t trade.
Here’s my advice to you
Stop being so damn negative.
Have you ever considered the reason you’re not getting what you want is that you keep asking the universe for the wrong things?
You ask the universe for some kind of proof that Darkstar is evil, I promise you, you’re going to find it.
A more positive approach would be to ask; how can I get value out of knowing Darkstar?
Framed in that light, the goal of getting forum admiration for outing me as a fraud suddenly doesn’t look so exciting, does it?
Maybe it does, but it shouldn’t when you consider that EVEN IF I LOSE EVERY TRADE I TAKE, you could make money fading my actions.
Let me assure you my friend, people DO make money at this.
And whenever you get over this need to prove that statement false, I’ll be happy to help you.
Until then, trade well.
