Disliked{quote} I consider the ranges and calculate them before every trading day! Many times the Q values are different however when applying them to the charts say for example yesterdays' Q value = 100 and today you calculate it as 90, there may not be a lot of difference when viewing the entry signal boxes on the chart and in this case I will leave the Q value as what it was yesterday ie Q = 100. If my plan for a trading day is to generate more trades initially then I will lower the Q value significantly. For a given initial range I like to have boxes...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Back on the 8 Sept 2015 I presented a chart.......... Now I'm short GBPUSD [H1; 325 - 325] for some serious collection of pips! {image} This is a longer term Q setup so in time I'll report the end result. Masterrmind........... :nerd:Ignored
Disliked{quote} Update on GBPUSD [H1; 325 - 325] {image} 7 shorts now in progress (with an additional 5 short positions entered since last update) Unfolding very nicely indeed but I'll continue to monitor all trades. Masterrmind...........Ignored

Disliked{quote} Nice Setup MM on GU! I had a similar one yesterday on EUR/USD...I walked away with over 88pips, then the market dropped another 131 pips. I didn't see that coming on a Friday... It looks like Europe is in a Panic mode after the FOMC Statement. I guess we should expect more Dovishness comes next week tho... On a nutshell, you are well positioned and I hope that the Greek Parliamentary Election won't create any +ve Volatility.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi Jay, I expected movement on Friday but not as much as what the market put out. On the GU pair it drove price right up into the 786 Fib (as per previous chart) and then pulled down nice.... could not have worked out any better for me! Picked up 7 shorts in total fairly quickly and currently 5 out of the 7 are in +ve territory. Friday I traded 4 pairs and tripled my net % gain for that day compared to the average net gain over the previous four days (not including GU H1 shorts since they are still open) Nice pickup by you on the EU pair...............Ignored

DislikedOn ranging market is nice, you can use even high leverage, but how go I know if the new HH is really a "high". Sell "high , buy "low" so we should sell on HH But look at this picture: {image} It is simply an account wiper for this methodology. Below is the Awesome oscillator, maybe I have modified his code to be EMA instead of SMA. I can't find any good filter with Stochastic either. The moving averages with lagging will say it a trend, so the first few entry is lost. After that we would do trending setup, then the last part will be negative. No...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi MM! Thank you, Thank you.... I am very glad that it worked out perfectly for you mate, and this is really incredible to make so much percentage gain in 1 day... I value NewsTrading a lot and I have my way of trading them, but the hardest part is I never really look for HOME RUN on all my Trades. HAHA!! I guess, I need to step my game up and be more aggressive.... Anyway, if there's any further Weakness on EU, here's what I am looking at for the next 2 weeks.... {image} 2 Key News Event for EUR: Sunday Night Greek Parliamentary Election...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Jay, Comprehensive Technical Analysis + Fundamental Analysis + Market Timing + MM = overall 'more likely' consistent winner! No doubt the equation above can be expanded upon. I was waiting for someone to make comment on the relationship between extra %gain versus DD. What was pleasing was that 3 x %Equity gain did not result in 3 x DD (more like 2 x DD). I intend to keep working on the choice of the 4 pair selection for the Asian session (correlated and uncorrelated and ranges etc). HOME RUN: Slow and steady usually wins the race! Taking...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi guys, my apologies if this question is dumb....is there an idiots guide or calculation to help determine the optimal Quantum figure to use based on the market range? Just wondering if this is something that could be coded it an EA to enable it to self-optimize so to speak. Food for thought.Ignored
