Disliked{quote} Hi Dee50 Very very nice. I noticed you've been on the Harenko charts recently on Jacquatemates thread. Have you tried using the TTindy on your Harenko charts?? I've often thought its the perfect combination but always end up back with my old familiar 1 min charts. However it does make sense to use them as price can only go up or down, we don't need time in the equation really, do we???? Whats your thoughts????Ignored
As you saw from my charts I have tried out the TT indy and I am really impressed, I have not traded with it off the Renkos, but I will, I tried to manage the trades off the 1 minute as you do but after using the Renkos I got a bit freaked at all the extra noise so I changed to a 5 minute which made it much easier to follow the PA.
Do we need the time element in trading? Time is something that we use to manage our lives, infact it is probably the 1 main controlling element in all our lives, we organise our lives according to time. For years we have traded according to time, but ask your self "what elements of time are important in trading" we need to know when the market opens and closes, we need to know the time of fundamental news releases, to some degree we need to know when it is lunch time or Tea time (London morning Tea), have I missed any important elements that have a direct effect on PA? If there was only 1 time frame for trading then yes it would be important that we all followed the same time, but the reality is that we all trade different times, 1min 5min 2min 3 min 10 min 1hr 4 hr Daily etc etc, so how important is time in trading? When we analyse a chart do we concentrate on Time or Price?
