As mentioned in a few earlier posts, Stage2 of this system will be to implement a process to catch and stay in a runner (trend).
Once again, I stress, that I would like this stage to be viewed as purely "bonuses". Our focus must remain on taking care of our daily business first!
Our daily business is 2 or 3, 2-Brick TP's. Once we have 28-40 pips in the bank...only then should Phase2 be sought after. I know some of your first thoughts are going to be..."What if there is a 70 pip run first thing during the Asia session?" My answer..."Oh well" Take your 12-16 pips on that run, take another 12-16 pips on another pair...then look for a runner.
If another one doesn't develop that day on any of your pairs...you have still taken care of business for that day. You know the runners will come...be patient. If you catch 2 or 3 runners a week...that's a huge bonus alongside your daily business!!
As a reminder...the mechanics behind the decision to go after a runner are: Once you are 2 bricks into profit, move SL to BE. At this point all Exits will be determined by yourself.
For continuity of the thread, PLEASE only post scree shots with the approved indicators. Whatever you're using, or decide to use, to stay in trade with the intent of it being a runner, keep it off your posted screen shots for now. As I had already mentioned, I would like to collectively design and decide what will be the official process of Stage2.
Below is what I will be testing this week, if anyone is interested. It's a pretty cool AllAverages indi with colors for Up/Neutral/Down, and dozens of different settings.
My one week test settings will be:
TF=0
Price=0
MA_Period=8
MA_Shift=0
MA-Method=3
Color_mode=1
