After the forced MT4 v500 update (that disabled a bunch of my fave tools). I've been monitoring the UPROAR!! among traders and brokers. The search is REALLY on for an alternate platform and between Ninjatrader, ProTrader and CTrader it appears that CTrader is poised to takeoff Bigtime thanks to the Metaquotes snafu. I've downloaded their demo and OMG it feels silky smooth and also pretty easy too. The programming language is any .NET language. It natively supports C# and while the MQ4 EA/indicator conversion will be painful it really looks like it might be worth it.
On their website they name a few supported brokers: Pepperstone, FXPro, IC Markets and a few others but I dont see any USA brokers. It looks like FXPro is the only one that's fully tradeable but has anyone seen a USA broker even announce upcoming support for the platform? I've been waiting for the next platform since I have some EA's that need recoding and I wanted to do it in the next emerging platform (that isnt MT5) since Metaquotes seems to have burned its bridges with its war against Myfxbook, Zulutrade, Tradency, MT4i and others. (I REALLY miss Myfxbook Account Reporting - looks like only one account per Broker now). Anyone else play with CTrader and have any USA broker info (or rumors)?
