DislikedHi greenB, you and I had the same brain bypass for that EJ trade.thankfully I was in sim. But after looking at the trade loss I kept having the same question: Why did I think it would go short??? everything indicated long, but I simply did not look at the overall picture, just the very short term. Something I asm trying to retrain the brain for. MUST look at and take in the whole picture!!Ignored

Disliked{quote} Estupido, I am sorry I did not reply your post yesterady due to unknown problem and this thread was 'locked'. I do not know how long you have been trading spot forex and also how many demo trades you have completed using TMS. To start live trading with EUR10K, is a big decision t make. I think to do demo trading using a Demo account EUr10K and complete 100 trades , then we evaluate all your trades - entries, exits, position sizing, trade management, wins and losses analysis, expectancy, etc, then it would give a good picture and then we...Ignored
Dislikedemmanuel7788, Considering TMS, can you please share your opinion what should be done in the following PA: GBP/USD H4 entry made on 16th of April 6:01 GMT First screenshot is taken at the time of opening position, 1 minute after 6:00 GMT. It looks even better than good. 4 hours later I see a reversal that changes TDI. Imagine the TDI after the bar named "possible exit" has closed. I remember was poiting steeply down giving decent short TDI bounce entry. At that point I have decided to bail my entire position, not allowing the price to hit my SL...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Emmanuel, I really appreciate your input. However, I prefer to lear it with real money and not play money as I will take it far more seriously. My experience with forex trading is just one day but I have 8 years of experience in the Dutch option trading. I have been a professional trader for 8 years but stopped due to the insane stress. I am now working in the fincial services industry. I am not being arrogant but EUR 10K is not a huge amount for me and i can live with the fact losing all of it. I will keep you all informed about my progress....Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi Estupido, Thanks for sharing your background. I sense that too that Eur10K may not be a lot of money and you are not arrogant about that. I also agree trading with real money makes a lot of sense when you have already trading experience. For me, seriously to trade for some decent income, the amount to start with is US$50k and I say that becasue I look at the % return for every 20 trading days. 10% return every 20 trading days using 4H trading method is something achievable. We must learn pick out the A+++ type of setups and also...Ignored
DislikedHi All, See below the EURGBP chart. If the TDI will bounce it looks like a good set up (only if it bounce so not now). Trend is bearish. Any advice/comments? {image}Ignored
