-Er- the trix does repaint the last bars worth. This takes some getting used to. The way to manage this is use trix in combination with the other thv indicators PLUS another signal. For me this is a mix of other timeframes plus fractals and moving averages and act when everything lines up.[/QUOTE]

thise is not a problem if its only the last bar (ill just wait until its close )(hopefully that what you are saying , i been running a test on the tester and its repaint only the last bar so its good enuff for me.)

thx!

yep, thats the point. It was simply a perfect trade.

After noticing at about 2 PM today how the € got pumped up to 1.3320 in a row
i got suspicious and remembered my own Rule. "Never eat what they serve.."
I 'knew' they pumped it up and will drop it. Equal who wins, btw. i did not believed Berlusconi will win,
never ever. Now as we see, it was equal who will win. It was a simple money making trap. Glad i was on the right side.

Could not await 3 PM and Pol closing. And i was right.
Had SkyNews, German TV and a Italian News station running

Took more than a Lot so it was a little nerve wracking,

(Afterwards. I did a News play with more than a Lot. Best way to ruin your account fast. More than fast. Fast fast..)
But sometimes its worth the risk..

Im realy proud about this trade. Afterwards, i should stay longer IN,
but apart from that, i did everything right and never had a doubt about what im doing.

I feel superior the whole day

Just doodling on my charts before tomorrows session and thought this was such a great Fib retracement with support at each successive level both up and down I thought I would share it. Also a slightly tenuous head and shoulders suggesting a potential target should the 61.8 fib be breached.

Started using Fibs a bit more too, but still mostly focusing on fractals as they do a pretty good job at showing price action...and I finally cleaned up my charts a bit. JPY trades now mostly taken on M5, the rest on M15.

Damiani survived! :-) Do you still see it's benefitial? Especially at lower time frames?

Yup...although at lower TF I often want the green line above 1

Sooooo, I spent a ton of time improving my stop loss management over the past couple of days. I now use the H4 as my medium/long term bias and most of the time only trade in the same direction...unless price dropped by a ton and I figure a retracement could result in a good amount of pips.

I time entries on the M5 for EURJPY and M15 for the rest. My initial stop loss is the Kijun Sen until the Kijun Sen hits my entry price...at which point I'm switching over to using the Tenkan Sen as a stop loss. If the move continues and price moves above the H1 Kijun Sen I'll use that as stop loss. If price continues to move in the same direction as the main H4 trend, I will switch over to the H1 Kijun and then Tenkan Sen for a while before finally doing the same on the H4 chart.

This allows me to "phase into" trades and get into trades early while still being able to capture the majority of larger moves.

Bought an EA that does most of it automatically, just need to switch templates every time I move up a timeframe and it automatically adjusts the stop loss. Using the EA from "landofcash.net". Nice chap too, already asked if I have any suggestions for improvements...made back the $80 I spent in less than a day.

Yup, still very beneficial. If on the H4 Damiani tells me not to trade, I know all I can do is trade on lower timeframes. Same goes for H1...if Damiani says "do not trade" I'll drop down to M15, and maybe even M5 if I'm up for scalping.

+50pips, happy days. Could have entered earlier but wanted to see yesterday's low broken as confirmation of the down move.

As a general hint: If the H4 fast Trix is red...don't go long. Since I'm sticking to that I cut down on losers quite a bit

EDIT: meant "long" of course...shouldn't be posting while looking at charts at the same time...
