My account as well as both my parents IRA accounts. But there accounts are US based so my strategy doesn't work quite as well due to FIFO as I open 4-8 positions depending on the pair I am trading. Damn US regulations...

Gotcha, I feel I can really take off with a little more capital.. My dad wants to do some investing and maybe I can sway him that what I am doing is not gambling...

Steady and consistent gains will do it

It is definitely much easier to do this full time with the proper starting capital! Being under capitalized often times leads to more aggressive and reckless trading, well at least in my experience.

Blew a few accounts along the way... LOL

My main account has been pretty steady for the last few months. And yea I blew 2-3 accounts until I got my shit in order. Luckily a few $250 accounts, well it was a lot to me at the time hahah.

But yea the number 1 failure among GOOD traders is being under capitalized.. Do you trade full time?

Yep! I've actually got most of my trading automated now and have EXCELLENT results.

Since September 2011 I have totaled about 50,000 pips with AUD/JPY, CAD/JPY, EUR/AUD, and GBP/AUD. This was all done with basically no human intervention whatsoever. My goal has always been passive income although I do enjoy following the markets and studying charts on a daily basis.

woohoo! Nice dude. It seems we lost some traction just before the open, especially on Geppy. My positions are actually in a decent profit and I'm going to continue holding them (shorts) and see what materializes here.

I kicked myself last week for flipping my bias and I'm not about to do the same yet to start this week

Wow, super quiet in here... what gives, kids?

We've slowly been grinding lower but it's been quite boring as a whole. I'm beginning to wonder that, once I get bullish on the Yen crosses again, if EUR/JPY wouldn't be the better investment given the severe Sterling weakness. I also see EUR/USD firming at these levels, so GBP/JPY may not be the best bang for the buck long once that time comes.

Thoughts anyone?

That makes plenty of sense to me. EJ long, GJ for short. Still short this piggy so long as we stay below 143.

Most of my equity is tied up in GBP/JPY shorts right now, but I wouldn't taking EJ longs at the moment regardless.

Here's my EJ chart (4h time-frame). It's pretty self explanatory as a textbook flag pattern. However, I'm not buying at the top of it. I'd buy on a breakout and retest or, preferably a drop to the low 123s an I'd scoop some up.

I've got a small short on EJ at 125. I don't think that trendline will hold for long but worth a shot. Too many shorts in euro.

Meanwhile watching paint dry otherwise.

Short, or long? I only ask because the rest of your post sounds like you're arguing for higher EJ.

I'm short based on RR. 125 is the 50% retrace level from the high to last week's low.

I just don't love the action right now for the short play. Just playing devils advocate against my own trade so I don't go in large.

Nice, I woulda taken her off at flag resistance, but that's just my style... reload on a break or a retracement.

Either way, you're holding green pips and that's never a bad thing
