drloyd, I think that is a pretty good summary

I am trading the engulfing set ups. From my back testing I would recommend not entering any EURUSD trades more than 1 hour after NY opens. They tend to run out of steam that late.

I normally have been trading with a very similar system, but with a master candle and its not bad... but who knows why I've been ignoring the outside bars, By sure your system its more easy and efficient as a outside bar is already confirmed signal. I think is too much headache to keep on mind both, just to keep simple set up, so I prefer as you say

I also prefer 4 hrs before 1 hr after check 1w/1d levels
