I've been working on a GBP/JPY 5M system to trade with. Trying to make it mechanical but it does rely on a bit of judgement and intuition.

This pic shows how TickVolume can be used but filtered slightly with 22/7 EMA. Currencies is also really useful. I'm thinking of using 1 or 2 TickVolume buy or sell indicators for an entry and exit but filtering it using Trend or the EMA to show when to stay in.

I also highly suggest reading the market statistics word document posted before and using the 4.1 and 7.1 or something indicators. I think there's a lot of truth behind what is written and combining it with TickVolume and other indicators like 22/7 can be very good. I'm working on that every time I get a chance so hopefully should come up with something.

Anybody still use this system?

I'm still working on my own trading system using tickvolume and currencies, among a few other things I've found.

EUR/USD H1 and H4 seems to be looking the best for me at the moment...

I'm always trying to refine everything I've learned.

I for one still trade this system. Mostly off do the hourly, but sometimes the 15 as well. I trade it multiple currencies and with gold. my only wish is that GG would have posted the scripts for trade entry so as I would not have to watch the screen all night during the European session.

I´m in this boat too. Only use Gadi_OBV in mtf mode (M15-H1-H4-D)

I've been looking at this system for four days now and its on the money. I've been trading on and off for 5 years with out any great successes. I've tried all kinds of techniques, some work some don't. Blown accounts, the usual story. So I stopped!

I began looking around again for something that could help me again.... Then I realized that I, actually don't know anything about the market mechanics, what phase its in and cycle.. So I started writing my own system. Was it any good? No. But here's what I started doing. I took price and plotted it on a strait
line onto a histogram. Then added a linear regression moving average from the results of price been plotted on the histogram. So I thought I was thinking out the box.. Little did I know.. I was on a fast track to know where, again!

So who am I? Who's gg53? Why does he know so much? He must be some insider sitting on a pile of knowledge and, I want in. So I'm going to work for it. I'm a software developer and yes I can code but, can he trade.. well we have already established that one.. I know enough to get by.

I going to write this EA everybody so desperately wants and so do I. So sharing is caring yes? But only under the direction of gg53 will I implement anything into this system, that's if gg53 agrees.

Anyway food for thought..
