HUH? What did he say? Anybody understand this one??
He has us baffled. It seems like google translate but his profile says he is here in the UK. Just visited his blog and definitely someone whose first language is not English (e.g. words like "teached").
Kind Regards

I did this with Photoshop but if you or anyone with skills could modify "SIXTHS SCREEN" something like this, it would be grateful.

Hi

Ive just found this strategy and it looks like its been going for a while. Is it still profitable?

Also I saw on another thread that Bob had made an ea for it. Anyone have a link for that?

Thanks

Hello, I have downloaded Nanningbob 4H trading system and I have 2 questions:

1. The sixths indicator is canceled on last version of system? If yes, how to respect the rule:
"DON’T TRADE BETWEEN THE GREEN LINES"
2. Why NB 4H system has many templates like: 5.2 #1 sell, 5.2 #2 buy .etc
What template is best to use?

Sorry for my english.

There is a difference between a trend trading system and a counter trading system. 5.0 is a counter trading system in that you many times are trading retracements with in a trend. 10.0 system follows the trend so we dont use the 6th indicator in a trend trading system just a counter trading system.

You will have to read the booklets to know which EA to use but each one is used is different situations. It is like learning to use different golf clubs while golfing.

So. Umm. Anyway, this is somewhat a silly problem, nonetheless...

The platform that I used doesn't support MT4 Template, so I use MT4 to help determine signal before making decision. The problem is, this system using EA, which of course not available to the platform I used. Is there someway to make this more... manual? I mean, what does the EA seek to buy/sell stuff in the first place?

Also, do I need to adjust, since my preferred TM is Daily? As far as I can read, there doesn't seem any need, but... just want to make sure.
It is quite Zen, when you think about it.

You can use pending orders where you want to buy or sell a trade. A little more work that way but it is doable. I use pending orders a lot in my trading now but that is because I use S/R levels more than I did in the past.

Thanks for answering! For clarification, the order should be put somewhere near Gold band, right?

Yes unless there is a strong fundamental acting on the currency pair price usually will retrace some where at that point.

Hmmm... About the biggest difference this system is it is quite newbie-friendly. I've never get loss, so far, though the pips I gained not much, either. I think I only get slightly lower than 100 this past days. Incidentally, what would be the best TP? Do I follow what the indicator state, or perhaps just stop at the band?

I found the best times to take profit are 1/2 way of euro and 1/2 way of USD sessions. If you want a trade to go longer then look for the weekly support and resistance lines.

Firstly, thanks to Nanningbob, and everyone else who contributed, for developing such a succinct and useful trading approach.

I've found the Support and Resistance indicator to be really useful, but I was hoping someone could tell me a little bit about it. Firstly, when do the support and resistance lines draw? Since it is based of fractals, does it draw after the close of the third bar? Secondly, does the indicator repaint? I mean are the lines constantly changing as price changes?

Thanks!

Well S/R lines are based on past points so once set they dont change. Once a new area is set then new lines are drawn. So price actions determines where the lines are drawn.

My 10.4 system is my best and most complete work based on following long term trends knowing when they start and when they end. I doubt very much I will ever need to change from it. It finishes my quest to define the different terms in Forex into a practical system to trade. Money management, trends, what is a dip in UT and a rally in a DT, how to successfully renter the markets with multiple positions, stop losses positioning and making profitable low/no risk trades. etc.
