When you place your next grid, do you delete previous pending stop orders?

Can you explain your 5th point with some detail example?
Good-day kjaved,
Kindly find below the explanation of the 5th point.

Trading on Grid 10pips:

Buystop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2960

Buystop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2950

Buystop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2940

Buystop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2930

Buystop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2920

Assumming Price is within 1.2900 and 1.2920

Sellstop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2900

Sellstop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2890

Sellstop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2880

Sellstop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2870

Sellstop SL-30pips:TP-10pips @ 1.2860

Hope the above is explanatory enough.

Happy Trading.

Thanks Dare for the reply...

I think should be 10 Pip SL and 30 Pip TP

Actually I wanted to ask if 1 or more trades are open then how will you place your next Grid at 13GMT? What about pending stops?
Coding is Poetry....

So the risk to reward ratio is 3:1 or 1:3 now? i am kinda confused cause if the risk to reward ratio is 1:3 as dare123 stated on the first post.

Thanks for the strategy anyway!

Yes, and you can even make up to 20%. It all depends on the market movement. It is the same with every other strategy and you need to know the pros and the cons.

Not sure if there is an error. Let me know again.
Thanks alot ~bull.bear~,
I suggest an EA and a Script will be OK,
I will sugget we remove the use of Trading period and look at only the following flexible variables:
Make it more simple.
For EA
1) Grid Size : flexible to any value eg. 10pips, 20pips etc.
2) Range Grid size or no of grid steps: No of trades to be placed on the grid size-flexible
3) Position Size : x% of the account balance in Lot Size-flexible
4) Take Profit : flexible
5) Stop Loss : flexible
6) Place additional buystop or sellstop outside the range of the current trade to equal the number of trades of range grid size.

For Script:

1. Flexible varible for buy: Buystops and Buylimits.
2. Flexible variable for sell: Sellstops and Selllimits.
1) Grid Size : flexible to any value eg. 10pips, 20pips etc.
2) Range Grid size or no of trades: No of trades to be placed on the grid size-flexible
3) Position Size : x% of the account balance in Lot Size- flexible
4) Take Profit : flexible
5) Stop Loss : flexible

If there is any addition we can add to it.

Thanks alot.

Here's an EA found on another site that allows grid size, take profit & stop loss. It opens a buy & sell order at the same time. This is a little different than what you proposed.

I think EA and script should be the same function. So there is no necessary to code script.

And could you please explain on the number 6?
Thanks.

I think there is a need for a scipt because it can assist to diversify our method of trading.

No 6 replacement of trades: Let me try and explain.
For example: if i am trading on a grid of 10pips, TP=30pips and SL=10pips with 20 buystops and 20 sellstops on every grid 10pips. The range of every trade is 40pip.

so lets assume the market is falling, after every 10pips fall additional sellstop is added after the last sellstop, and a buystop is added behind with a corresponding buy trade at the top deleted. This makes our number of pending orders equals 40- the number of current trades at every time T.

Hope it is Clear or I give further explanation.
