100 % correct , the exact thing i was asking for , on right track , rest of the features of the MA renko stays
After several weeks testing, ended with a big lose. Tring to regroup.

It looks like RB_Renko_V10 took the trade too late, see attachment.

Can someone explain why the robot takes a trade one bar+(5+pips) later after a break? Can it be adjust?

Reference post 1350, pg 90, where did you get those beautiful all in one Strategy Tester Reports???

After you run your backtest, select the 'Results' tab at the bottom then right click anywhere in the results area and select "Save as Report". This will give you the Strategy Tester Reports you were seeing.

Also, with the new setting, RB_Renko_V10 took a good trade with profit 25pips at 0.02 lot (partial close), and 50 pips at 0.02 lot (TP).

Here are my settings + the template, enjoy!
I will continue to test with these settings and report back.

Just to let you know I am still around and do come back and check the thread at times.
I will not be updateing or making any changes to the present EAs I have posted here at this time.

I am presently doing a lot of reading about Basket trading and have started to code and test a 5 pair basket trading EA.
I know, there are already some fine ones available, but I always like to spin my own.

The first one will just be a 5 pair basket trading EA that will use th M15, H1, and H4 offline charts for entries, exits, and direction.
I am also trying a few other ideas to make the entries and exits better and avoid them durring ranging periods.
You should also be able to trade a 5 pair basket on a .01 lot, $500 account.
If this EA works out well it is easy to add more pairs to the basket with an EA upgrade.

Every idea I am using in this EA is not new and can be found in the Basket trading forums, nothing new, if interested please go read them, just maybe a different way of putting things together.
A lot of traders have spent years experimenting with baskets and I am just taking advantage of their generosity.

If all goes well over the next couple of weeks I will probably start a new thread with the new EA, as I don't want to make this one or the Basket threads any longer.

So if you are interested or have already tried basket trading (Good or Bad), post a response, it seems some have had good luck with the idea.

there is no need to start a new thread , if we just tweak our MA renko we will achieve the power of basket . it is quite easy .no need of HAS , our MA is enough.

We can add another small tweak to the our existing MA renko , where in it check with the 200 EMA, if the price is above the 200 EMA and it gets a buy arrow signal it will take it and ignore the sell signal that comes when the price is above the 200 EMA and similarly for sell the 200 EMA must be above the price .

if our ea can be tweaked to add this rule , then we can make the ea run in time frame and also in renko charts.

remember lot of research has already gone into making the current EA, The earlier tweak that i suggested for MA renko that is EMA of EMA will give us the HAS power to our EA and thus give us the basket . Our MA renko is very powerful , we just need to discover it.

we take the EJ 1 m screen and put the 80 ema close 80 ema high and 80 ema low , this will get us a band of 3 lines across the screen , once we get a clean candle close after breaking the band on either side we have a trade long or short . before the ea actually fires the trade it just checks with Awesome and 200 EMA if they are in line , and then fire the trade .

The idea is to make 10 -20 pips per trade with bejs kicking in at 5 pips move . so any move of 5pips will set the trade to break even , initial sl is at 10 pips plus spread as per broker.

I use the scipts from http://www.az-invest.eu/ for backtesting renkos. I am still using them today and am getting good coorelation between backtest and live results.
