I think that I have the neatest way to draw trendlines, which is one of the hardest things to do, and it makes perfect sense.. Stay tuned I think you are going to like this. Then all that we need to do is make sure I placement within the channel is where we want it. I really think that a plan is coming together

I'm very curious to see what you have brewing over there in your mad scientist lab!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday as well and remember that nothing in the world is more important than FAMILY...nothing!

Congrats on your 5th vouch by the way...it's well deserved.

I personally don't think anything will be worth entering into new trades next week. I don't believe there will be enough volatility and volume in the market next week to see any new trades move enough to be in profit. I have a short on EUR/USD from 1.3226 and a long on USD/CHF from 0.9136 that I will manage during next week but I don't believe I will open any new trades next week due to the holiday and my view that many traders will be enjoying the holiday rather than trading. One thing about the FX market is we don't have to be in any rush because it will always be here.

Family is the most important, but I am up early and I am going to go over changing the timing indicator to my root indicator. It has just given me new light. It is interesting after all the years I have been doing this how I have continually headed into more successful trading, and feeling comfortable with the market and the the type of trader I want to be. No doubt I think I a almost there, with most of the definitions in place.

I have made a nice update to the first post. Everything should be a lot clearer now, though there may be some questions and you should not be afraid to ask. The only thing really left is how to use the FR-Root indi to draw the trendlines

Those of you that started out using the timing indicator I think that you will see many simialrities between the root and when it changes and the timing indicator and when it changes.

Your new template is calling FR-Channel and SupDem but these aren't in your 1st post. Are they part of your trading ?

Fr adn trend channel are the same thing I just tried to change the defualt colors in the channel and re-name it, but it didn;t work. and yes, forgot about SupDem.. not quite used to that one yet, but I like it as it helps price not to get lost out in nowhere for me. I will update SupDem and change temp so as not to confuse anyone.

I sure wish FF would fix there editor so I didn't have to readjust the line spacing every time I went to make a change. Such a pain in the butt.

hi damon,
Thank you for the vouch. You did a lot of changes to the thread since my last reply.
I am not able to participate much coz i realised that to actually rade this,i need more capital and knowledge . I have been trying to modify a multi timeframe system (3 ducks)to fit my style with moderated success.
But i will be playing around with the new indicators you posted and keep an eye on 20++ pairs with this trading method.Below is the nzdusd trade that we discussed a few days back.I am glad that i downloaded those indicators b4 u deleted them .I really wish you a speedy recovery From cancer.

That trade is turing out to be a nice one.. I wonder if it will continue. You are welcome for the vouch.. I think that you spoke with some experience and are still learning but pretty knowledgeable. You also spoke with a little intelligence and knowledge. Definitley worth a first vouch. Sorry you arn't able to stick around. I think you could trade this with about $900 to start with. You would only be able to trade around 17 pairs though. Any, you are welcom back anytime. Just stop on in.

Regarding Stoploss did you try a 70% of a 20 ATR channel on a daily chart

No, but that is an option. I haven't thought much more about it yet today, but I will mingle that in with every thing else and take a look at it. Thanks for the idea. What makes you want to choose 70%. Anything in particular?

the % means nothing.it is just to filter out too big stop loss. you can change the percentage on that indicator.

sometimes when i take a look back on daily the price goes beyond the green/red lines and touches the blue lines. How do you deal with that?

And btw when you mean divergence on Root indicator Did u mean this?

Yes, that is divergence. If price goes past the red or green lines it still means to wait for your entry and when it happens take the trade. Trading off the blue line is fine. Acutally, the farther away from the center yellow line the better. So, to answer your question. Trading off the blue line is the same as trading off the red line. Define you entry point and take, and when price hits it, take the trade. Out here R:R would even be better. Sometimes even the rejuction back of the blue line is stronger and faster, so no harm no foul if it hits the blue line.

I have a question that is not related to the trading method. I want to vouch for damonl but I'm not able to because I guess I don't have enough vouches myself to vouch for somebody else. How do I obtain vouches myself? Is it based off how many post I have...how long I've been a member, etc?

Can somebody please let me know what I need to do so I can get my first vouch and vouch for damonl?

Winner1245,

You can always do what I'm doing and demo trade if you don't have enough capital. My current situation doesn't allow for me to fund a trading account so I'm trading with a $14 live account that I have. I'm demo trading this method but once I can afford to put $1k into my trading account, I will and I will have a solid understanding of this method from demo trading.

So don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat as you but you can always join the party and learn like the rest of us.

Just my 2 pennies!

Hello:

Only a person with more than 3 vouches can give a vouch for someone else. Once you get three you will be able to vouch for me. It usually has to do with forex ability and understanding and being helpful. So, thanks for the pretend vouch. A I see your understanding of forex, etc. maybe you will get on from me.
