Nice one but don't you think AU was more logical given how bullish UJ was and how much upside potential it had?
Hey LJ. I am confused by this last chart. Are those boxes Supply/Demand Zones?

yes dagriz , you already answered it by saying zones!!! and the boundries u talked about are some times hidden supply and demand ! thats why by scrollin down to a lower tf u can pinpoint the source,

Hey Chanya. I would have looked at the H1 Supply Zone within that D1 Zone. But that still didn't work out as planned (Came 4 pips from the lower boundary and dropped some, but not a violent move)

I'am not LJ though, but here's my view. I took a small hit on this one yesterday, I entered through a 1H-PB but after bouncing a bit it reversed and stopped me out, in hindsight the main issue with this FTB would be the impulsive move before the FTB, the bearish momentum was just too strong. Usually we want to see a increase in momentum just before price hits the FTB-area. Next stop would be the demand @ 9713-ish which was previous supply, but also here the move towards the area of interest is quite impulsive.

Yes these are zones where price found supply or demand previously. As mentioned before the most important point is finding the DP's...so for example why did AU fall from where it did ...the M5 and M1 chart from when price left this supply zone previously tells us the answer.

It doesn't strike me as a very clear daily SR, but you can see the demand on H1, H4 that caused the move higher. I agree with Xmzhang's comment regarding the impulsive move into the area.

It's a demand zone, not one for an FTB for me (if that's what you're asking) as it's too far in the past for me to be interested. But what I'll do is mark the DP's and then watch for PA - especially those upper 2 DP's marked (H4 and M5 charts below).

I got some questions about "3 Drives Up/Down". It is one of powerful price patterns, but not easy to catch/ride on it. You need to get in at the 3rd touch on TL. Look at one more example (EUR/JPY 4H) of "3 Drives Down".

USD/JPY 4H Chart (3 Drives Up?)
If it is "3 Drives Up" on UJ Daily, price will probably go up to 83.50ish level (B on the picture). In case of 3 Drives Up/Down, rallies/drops from trendline get larger each visit and the last move is usually the longest one. Drive 3 should push farther than retrace of Drive 2 at least.
