There is a reason for good and bad results if you watch the market. There is no choppy market but the market oscillates about 80% of the time and trends 20% of the time. You need a filter which I have. Contact me.

Im kinda new to renko. and I've read the thread through. i have a question to ask. I've noticed that:

1. I have 2 accounts for backtesting. I discover that the renko bricks form differently even when:
a) both accounts are trading the same pair.
b) the same time frame; DAILY
c) both using same renko tick counts.

It has been said that:
"Any time you refresh the script (or restart mt4, or remove and reapply the script and refresh the offline chart) you have a chance of actually changing the "base price" on which the Renko blocks...
Your initial position is not the same so how can both renko charts be the same? The renko bricks start forming as soon as they are loaded and hence that is the initial price they assume although the brick size will be the same the start and finish wont.
anyone had tried this renko system? forexracer.

Ok fellow trader im going to try and post my rules as best as I can. All of the rules will be showed in the charts and a little in typing cause im not good with words. Ill repost all my indicator and template in this post also incase people are just not starting and will not have to look at previous post to find them. I have looked at this Fr system to-day and believe this system is not the answer.(Just my Humble opinion)...Whilst Renco may look simple this is not always the case.As in life there are always trade offs...I run Renco and Heiken Ashi Candle charts on different computers and you may find that at times they are totally different animals but again that is just my humle opinion for what it may be worth.

No the 1M is already part of the MT4 platform....

Hi, This nothing to do with the thread, but I'm trying to gather some info about the 'Median Renko' indicator. I've traded Renko for a long time now, & this particular indicator keeps popping up......anyone know anything about it?
So make sure it's an exciting one, 'cos it's the only one you get!
You can find details as well as indicator about Median Renko on www.az.invest.eu I use their scrips for Renko, Range, and Median Renko Bars and they are good, hope it helps

I use their MedianRenko setup too and I like it. Only thing I don't like is how it slows down your boot up of mt4 when you have 8 or more renko charts open. I have 21 renko charts (1 renko for the 21 pairs I trade) and it takes about 3 and a half minutes for the platform to boot up now. However, the renko charts are the same every time you boot up your platform which is nice! Until I find a better renko generator, this one is the best. I have used the free ones here, and some commercial ones but az invest's are the best I have tried so far.

ComoxBluejay, go to the website and read about the median renko's and watch the video. If you like what you see, I think you can still get a one week free trail of the median renko generator to give it a try. That's what I did anyway.
