Hi everyone, m a newbie in forex. I tried London Breakout, its really very good and helpful. Just little confusion. Is there any update or any other indicator that can give auto-execution and fill-out of trades as soon as the price meets the target. I mean, an indicator that gives implementation of session breakout as well as placement of trades on both (long and short), also can execute and fill the trades on specified price.Any suggestion and assistance will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hey,

how do you open your positions (without EA) ?
All manually or do you have a script ?

To open all the positions manually is not so effective I think...how do you manage this ?

I saw some scripts in the thread from London breakout V1, but I don't get it work to this indicator V3.3b, could you help me ?

Thanks!

Greets

HI guys,

new to this.

Did you ever consider 30min TF as this would likely give a smaller box as the 0800 bar tends to be big. Can I alter the ea to reflect timeframe 0400 - 0730 and will everything else build as normal based on the potential smaller box?

Hi, I have (long ago) experimented with this ea and used half hour bars from just after midnight so I believe that you can do the same

Thank you. The strategy is interesting. But there is a good way to use the Martingale method of trading on the turn. Landmark reversal find on the data from multiple oscillators. Input can not be accurate. Therefore, we will need the Martingale method. The M5 through step 20 pips open no more than 6 orders. It is a bit on such a small distance.
It is safe even for small deposits.
Has anyone tried? Share your experience.

Tell me, is there a combination of indicators on the M5, showing a high probability of price rebound at least 20 points? Share your experience. )))

Hi Mero,

I hope i'm not double posting as i just tried to post but it didnt seem to appear?

Thanks for a great system and strategy, it is excellent for a newbie like myself to learn entries, exits, t/p and s/l levels.

I had a question as i cant seem to find an answer on your thread?

Say you enter long or short at the respective level and are now deep in the profit zone. Do you use or have a strategy for re-entering on say, a pullback or reversal or do you wait for the candle to close back inside the buy/sell area? If this is the case how do you deal with entering on say a major trend reversal that starts in the profit zone?

Any help on this would be most apreciated.

Greetings everyone!

It has been sometime since I have posted, but I am hopeful that someone who is familiar with this strategy and the coding within would be willing to assist me. Using the v1.3b version of the EA which I can provide, I would like to find someone that could change some of the code for me. I have made the request from Squalou, but I think he is busy as I have not heard from him for sometime. He would be perfect as it's his coding.

I wanted the StartTime, EndTime, and SessionEndTime fields to be changed from time values to calculations where number of candles are chosen instead of a time value.

When placed on a chart, it immediately creates the box and be open for trading with the following user defined variables in place of the current time variables.

StartTime would be ‘x’ number of candles in the past from current candle when EA is loaded on a chart (default 8 candles)
EndTime would be current candle (if 0) or ‘x’ number of candles in the past (default 1 for previous candle close)
SessionEndTime would be’x’ number of candles in the future from current candle

Once the EA is placed on a chart, it will follow the rules of the EA as it is written. Once the SessionEndTime is reached, it will no longer trade until it is reloaded on the chart.

What I was noticing that when letting it run on it’s own, there would be times when conditions were not good for trading. I would rather watch for periods of stability in the market and load the EA manually and let it trade for that period of time in which I loaded it. I hope that made sense.

Let me know what you think and thank you,

I am willing to hire the programmer to perform this. I would rather "keep it in the family" with someone who is already familiar and we can share it on this thread if my theory is correct, than to have to pay someone to write it from scratch.

I am trading this and my results can be found here: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/ibth...reakout/485805

I call it my own LBO to differentiate from the posted EA only because I am having to close the trades manually and correct some of the false re-entries myself. I believe if it can be loaded manually as described above, it could be traded more profitably.

Hi Texan,

I use an indicator that will send me an email (using Mt4's Alert System) whenever an order is opened or closed. Would that help?

Scott

This is an alarm with pop up and mail alert. Should do the trick - channel or level mode - you have to type in the levels you want into the indi inputs box - it draws a line or 2 if using channel and away ya go

Guys, I don't know whether are there any member still find this thread useful. In my own way of thinking, this strategy is incredible. Easy to understand, manage and develop. The best thing that I realise in this strategy is the way we manage money, open order and martingle (This one is like dragon, I think. If u know how to control it, u will be the most powerful soldier. If not, well, dinner is deserved... Lolz ). Believe me, after back test and forward test, this strategy goes well.

However, I just realised something interesting that I would like to share. This strategy and EA has one disadvantage if you only trade 1 pair like me. That is, when we are in down trend for example, it will be very risky if you set buy order, and vice versa for up trend with Sell order. So, I use Ichimoku to define when to allow the EA to go short or long only.

I use original Ichimoku indicator in MT4, and I use this thread to overlay ichimoku to 15m chart.http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=354512

That's it. If ichimoku shows me that the market is on the down trend, I will allow the EA to set short order only, and vice versa.

I been trading similar to this for years and you way over complicating things. Simply wait until around 8.15 am (UK) by which time most orders have been filled giving direction. Look for a break out from the Asian session and take a quick 15 - 20 pips. Get out before 9.30 am when major news releases come out Simple.

yeah, I have tried your setup, I works really well I must say. Like I said, this strategy is so powerful. So, u can setup whatever u want as long as it makes u feel comfortable.

By the way, how many pairs do you trade in your system?

And I'm sorry that I make it more complex. For me, it looks clear when combine this strategy with Ichimoku.
