DislikedJust before I got this pic, Gavin moved his DOM into the view. Sorry.
Anyway, I want to note the Buying Climax on the right side of the chart. Notice that this indicator of a Buying Climax shows up in what is clearly a range.
Gavin took a quick scalp off of it for a few dollars. But what's most important to me is the fact that the BC not into fresh new ground, nor is it after a rise in price (i.e. trend).Ignored

DislikedApologies. I was/am a bit upset with the lack of participation in this once glorious thread.
There is no need to get bogged down in nomenclature. But it is important to note that if one poster calls it a Buying Climax, it would be in error for another poster to say it is not because it is in a range. Trade Guider, the definitive source for VSA, like it or not, says Buying Climaxes can come within a range and not into new fresh ground.Ignored
DislikedHi, bandung
it doesn't work. With regard to my indicator, you are right it only calculate the closed bars' volume. Actually, I can revise it to calculate the forming bar. I know you are one of the best coders here, if you would like, I can send you the source codes for optimization.

DislikedOn oct. 17 western digital, the largest hard drive producer in the world announced that factories of hard disks had to be shut down because of flooding in Thailand. If you knew nothing about vsa you would expect the stock to plummet (WDC). Take a look at the chart im sure you will find it interesting. IMO this is a good buying oppertunity.
