Hey alexm thanks a lot for the material. I'll go through it later on, just got home from a grueling estate planning exam.

Here's a TPO of EU, price never made it to the major balance area (red), but there was a nice bounce off off the smaller one. In yellow I've highlighted a minor area that I wouldn't expect to hold but I'm highlighting it anyway just to take note of it.

Got home from work and I noticed that price had come back to the highlighted area. I saw stopping volume at yesterday's POC, and unfair low of today, and waited to get in on a no supply.

Because it's late in the day (after 1:30pm eastern) I'm moving my stop to BE at ~+15. My TP (1.3690) is just just under a supply level and today's POC.

The first chart shows the highlighted area, the second shows my no supply.

Edit: Stopped at BE

London got to see the bounce today. This week, price has been retracing to these balance areas very nicely, I really like them.

Hi guys,

Thx for opening up this thread. I am also intrested in AMT and was searching on the internet for some info.

I have found some videos about market profile lessons, you can find them here:

http://www.tradethemarkets.com/public/3618.cfm

http://www.tradethemarkets.com/public/3621.cfm

http://www.tradethemarkets.com/public/3630.cfm

http://www.tradethemarkets.com/public/3634.cfm

I am trying to test the market profile indicator on mt4... Does anyone use it?
Is it reliable on mt4?

Thanks,
Mel

Hi Mel,

I found this one which is quite good, you can view 5 days forex MP and previous day value area in it. Do let me know what you think.

On Gold/Usd you can even see 6 day data.

Hi Frankkn,

Yes I saw it too and the balance area (POC) really work amazingly accurate, with the help of VSA I think both of them are excellent combination.

BTW, do you have any article of using market profile for Entry, Stop loss and Take Profit?

Appreciate you can share it here.

Hi Frankkn,

Thanks for your reply, As I see it the market profile is very accurate, really especially today on the eur .... I am speechless! lol

I was wondering if you use market profile on a weekly or monthly basis?

I don't even know if it is available.... Anyway, if someone have it, I will appreciate if you can share it.

Regards,
Mel

Hey Mel,

I don't really use profiles on anything larger than the daily, however I would imagine it could provide some useful info.

The first chart shows buying at demand, the second shows potential supply, stop to BE at +30. I'm targeting the level of supply to the left.

Hi Frankkn,

I have read the thread yesterday, I took a look at all the charts that you have posted and there is one question that I would like to ask you.

How do you define the demand and supply area that you mark on you chart?
Are they just the area on MP where we see the unfair highs/lows ?

Thanks,
Mel

Hi Mel,
Demand come in when people start buying, supply come in when people start selling.

again this is my EUR/USD chart today. Price touch the wednesday POC and bounce up again, amazingly accurate. To add VSA in is when bounce up from POC level then look for No Supply down bar and place a buy order above there.

Hi,

i've started using/learning AMT and trying to use it in combination with VSA like many on this thread. I thought i'd share a post of my thoughts on EU. It looks like we may be ready for a correction to the 3460 area. Feedback encouraged!
