Hi,
Like you I am looking for the holy grail, and that is a high win/loss percentage ratio, I don't mind losses, it's part of the game for me.
I think this system is very simple and I feel it has some ability to become great, though it requires some input from some of the more expirenced traders to make sure that win/loss ratio and what type of MM might work on this, as I am really crap with MM, as my wife!
I'm not too keen on indicators and would like to keep in indicator free as possible.
TF
1 hour
Long
If we close above previous high, go long - Look at B
Short
If we close below previous low, go short - Look at A.
SL/TP/MM
Requires input - Though looking at Chart, you could say:
MM
2 lots
SL
Previous bar low/high.
TP
1st lot - 15 pips
2nd lot - move to BE and let it run until you see reverse
If you went long (in picture - see D) - bar that closes below previous bar's low (in picture - see E).
If you went short (in picture - see A)- bar that closes above previous bar's high (in picture - see B.
Issues
At F - we would go short, then get stopped out.
At G - we would go long, then get stopped out.
Though
At E - we would go short and that would be a winner.
Conclusion (for now)
So you see, it has some potential, though it has some issues (like every other system), the the question is, how would we minimise our losses?
Regards,
