I've started this thread firstly to release the EA of the 30 minute Part Time Wealth Building system by tkimble (many thanks to him for sharing) and secondly, to start a discussion on best settings and pairs to trade with it. This also could mean different timeframes, not just the 30-min chart.
The EA has quite a few options to play with as outlined in the posted documentation. One thing it doesn't have is a trailing stop feature as this EA was built to my specs and ts is not my style. Other thing to note is the EA takes a trade as soon as the conditions are met regardless of tp or s/l not being hit on the previous trade.
The EA was built by another FF member for a fee (paid by me) and as such it's of a very good standard - I haven't encountered any bugs with it. For those who know me, I'm mostly to be found on the Daily Fozzy thread but I started this as a side project a while back, had the EA built and forward tested it.
So why am I sharing it for free? I've mostly left the EA on the back burner while I did my Fozzy research and ebook. The EA was also in loss when I stopped the forward test (it was running on 8 pairs) with only the JPY crosses showing encouraging results. With that in mind and hoping to get some fresh perspective (and as I wasn't using it anymore) I thought I'd post it up to see it anyone finds it useful. The document also contains a link to my site to increase awareness of what I do.
If you have an idea to improve the EA and have some coding skills, PM me with the code and I'll send you the source code version.
All the best and happy trading
Michael
p.s. results of the forward test can be seen on post 485 on the main thread.
