Here is a setup I traded from AUD JPY daily. A pin bar that was rejecting the previous swing low. What I didn't like at this setup is that the pin bar was smaller than the previous bar. For me usually it's a must that the pin bar should be bigger ...

Here is a breakout setup from 2 weeks ago. NZD CAD daily BUOB closes above the consolidation box. I was lucky I saw it only today because the result was a loss no matter what your entry style was (at close, with stop or limit orders). After the ...

I think this is a good level from EUR CAD with space to touch trade or look for a PA signal (it also has confluence with a previous swing high).

Do you think it's not possible to make a profit if you trade trend line break outs? Last summer I wanted to trade this EUR USD trend line after the BEOB closed below the trend line (I was trading with stop orders then and I didn't lose), do you ...

If I'd have known close above a trend line means traffic isn't a big problem I would have taken this trade last week. There were a lot of good trades last week on 4hr: CAD CHF, AUD NZD, Gold, EUR MXN, maybe USD CHF pin bar (but I wouldn't have ...

Are you looking for a fake out trade or is this a james16 price action trade? Aren't you worried of the traffic you're trading into? I have difficulty what areas I should pay attention to and what areas I should trade into. For example in EUR MXN ...

Fake out on GBP USD 1hr. The trigger bar would have been the blue candle and take profit at FTA.

Here is a setup from silver I liked a lot but I wanted to trade with a sell limit order and the trade wasn't triggered. I think this was better than the gold setup. Ghous what do you think about correlation? I sometimes use correlation to decide if ...

Fake out on EUR NZD. Is this a good fake out?
- str8 replied Aug 24, 2013
Mike, what do you think of this break out BUOB from AUD CHF that happened a few months ago? I didn't trade break out outside bars at that time but now I would have traded it. It had nice space but it didn't work well. If you have traded it would you ...

Here was a 2 bar fake out on USD ZAR with close below BRN.

This SFP from CAD CHF 4hr failed. Do you wait for confirmation (more 1hr or 4hr bars) before taking an intraday trade (I didn't take this trade because I read a Ghous post in where he said it's good to wait for more intraday bars)?

What do you think of this BUOB from EUR AUD? Was it worth taking (well, it won, but would you have take this trade if you didn't know it will won)?

On NZD USD 8hr there was a pin bar at a PPZ (and on NZDJPY a pin bar on 4hr). I have noticed recently that when price tries to break the former swing high and makes a pin bar even if the close is above the SH it has high chances of success.

Mike, what do you think about the OB from this chart? I don't know how to trade these type of pins/OB where the PPZ is touched only with the tail. You're right in the trade above there is a minor SH I can use for stop MG but usually I don't have ...

Does james16 play 2 day pinbars? I've found a 2 day pin bar on CADCHF (it also has divergence I think) but I'm afraid not a lot of traders watch 2 day charts (not even Metatrader5 has this chart).

Is this a swing failure pattern?

Why this 2 day BUOB from last Thursday didn't work? I didn't take the trade because of the FTA which was right at the break of the BUOB but I expected to go up (a falling wedge means price will go up, right?)

Hi Mike Wouldn't have been better if the neckline of the H&S would have been an horizontal line or a descending trend line instead of an ascending trend line? There are some major swing lows on the left that price should broke in order to move ...

There's a pin on GBP AUD daily rejecting that strong trend line but it's an ugly one. Very small, didn't close above BRN, and formed on Friday.
