Yeah it helps being burned by the same issue on FxOpen with some of the stuff I've written. BTW Geoff, I've added your system as a secondary confirmation to my angry hedgehog method to squeeze a few more pips. Thanks!

It looks like on your broker's GBPUSD has a period at the end so it's GBPUSD. instead of GBPUSD So it's confused.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Forex was always a means to an end for me, not the end itself. I'm using the profit I am making from forex to pay the bills while I build some other businesses and branch out into other markets for trading ...

Last time it happened to me was after an update, my firewall was blocking it. If you have a firewall make sure it is allowing MetraTrader thru.

Depends on the individual trader. I use fundies for the big picture, long term view (Days & weeks ahead) Technicals on the short term stuff. (Scalps, 5 min to a few hours) I think the blanket term of you have to choose one or the other is incorrect.

A lot of brokers now offer mobile solutions to trade on your blackberry, treo or whatever device you are using. Palm OS and Windows CE seem to be the most supported mobile OS.

Same here. Had several open positions and orders vanish from two seperate machines I was running demos on. (3 if you include my machine at work ) I've been with IBFX for almost a year now and this is the first time I've seen such a thing.
