Isy, I see you are saying that its a not trade during NFP. I am wondering what other no trades we would consider. I find that in todays world we have big economic news almost every day that will move this pair. For instance, wearlier in the wee ...

Qman, As you quoted, that technique (I belive ) is when there is first an OVERALL profit. In my mind it would not work if not already in an overall proft, because that is the profit you are really locking in when tyou get rid of the losing trades. ...

ISY, If I were to close my D and E positions I would be closing two longs. Once I do this I am 3-3 whch means my whole position is locked unless we get a big move to retrigger the new orders. Seems better off to take the bullet. I have decided to ...

Well it turnedout worse. Now down about 375, but no new shorts haveenterred so still poissble to recover. The right move was to reset last last and take the loss. I would have gotten much of it back on the downward move. ISY, I do not mind the ...

Qman, I believe the closing out method was meant for when you were in a profit overall, not a loss. I could be wrong but that was how I read it.

Ok, I ended with 8 open position (5 long, 3 short) at -180. I have decided to let it ride a little bit more but will keep an eye out and consider my options tonight. The only reason I am letting it stay is that I have 5-3 ration as opposed to 5-4. I ...

Final Results: Pickep up 539 pips. Had I held from beginning until end I would have made about 700. SO I gave up 160, however, I feel it was the right way to trade with the news coming out, etc. I will re-enter shortly and post my re-entry later. ...

I would be curious if we can look to see if this system has any trends based on the day of the week. Any idea?

Looks like I would have made a ton more if I held out, but with big news coming it was totally irresponsible to not take down 5% on a method that I tried for 1st time. I will re-enter later today
