Hi, I jumped when I started to read this thread since the system is very similar, but not eqivalent to how I have been trading on daily charts for a year with good profits. My system uses previous day's candle as soon as it closes. No indicators, ...

I know professional traders who do, and I know some that don't. And I would take smoothed over double smoothed any day! I mean, how much smoothness can you stand?

You know, that's close to how I have been trading manually on daily charts. However, I use the previous day's candle. The screen shot shows a short trade. Very reliable if you're liberal with you sl. Easy to be stopped out otherwise. And I would ...

Ah ok! Yes, I wait until the candle is closed before I take the trade. You may miss out on some good ones, but that's the premium you will have to pay for this kind of "insurance"

I'm not totally convinced I understand your question, but the deal is that you only look at the candles right after the 5/12 has crossed either up or down. This method does not do anything but slightly correct the entry signals for both going short ...

Slightly modifed Bagovino long/short method. — Hi, I have been playing with this system for a while and have started to use another way of entry and exit. This is a way I have seen used in another system based on EMS relations, so it's no ...

Without knowing this you come across as an "emotional trader" who has been trying everything to find the non existing holy grail. That must be frustrating. I have been lucky to have a friend who has been trading Forex successfully for years. I know ...

Thanks. I think I'll end up with FXDD account unless someone tells me they're no good. They seem to be "approved" here which is a good thing.

I like your approach to the question. Especially the point with the trader who makes 20 trades a year and live off it. Looking at the result one would have to say he has picked some successful trades, but is the trader a successful one? Hardly in my ...

Hi, I am jumping in here since these issues are really interesting to me as well. I am a Forex newbie, but I sit at home all day in front of my computer doing may day job telecommuting, so I am able to pay attention to my trading all day if need be. ...
