Here's another image which might explain why there were so many orders around that level. There was an inside-candle yesterday (fdax) which broke to the upside. This is the daily chart: image

Hello all, guten morgen, kia ora. This is my first post here - great thread you have D1! Stop-losses my friend (and yes, some strategically placed long orders). Take a look at the chart below: image Remember it is orders that move the market.

Thanks Gravi for the feedback. Another trade here and stopped out again. Price broke resistance and found support at the retest. I bought the break (up) of the inside bar but was stopped out minutes later. Am I on the right track with Sho's method? ...

USD/CAD — Hey all, I'm new to Sho's method. Just wondering what you think of this setup I took this morning. Looked like a decent setup to me - nice pin off previous resistance, with trend and also off mid Keltner. I don't ecpect every trade ...

GBP/USD 4 Hr BEOB — This is one of my favourite setups but I sadly missed it due to a phone call. I am using PA on a larger timeframe for direction, and 5 min chart for entry. This way I can maximise my R:R. First Chart (4 Hour): There is a ...

No trade..... — No trade here - was a fake-out rather than break-out. But I will continue to watch this area - maybe something will happen on a larger time-frame? I like these sorts of setups, especially at big round numbers because you can ...

I took the same trade and closed for a couple of pips loss as I didn't like the way price stalled. I suppose after a big drop there was some profit taking going on.

Hi Jankone What are your thoughts on this pin on USD/JPY? Is it enough of a pullback to the mid BB or is it too much in traffic? Thanks

Failed Pin — Here is a failed pin from EJ this morning. Counter trend but quality pin & div. Also off minor (hourly) S/R level and with major down trend.

Hi all, just looking for peoples' views on this USD/JPY 5min Pin. It was counter trend with divergence, BUT ..... if you look at the hourly chart it was off a significant S/R area and also the ascending TL going back to 27th Jan. The pin ...

Thanks for the feedback guys... Do you only take counter-trend trades off previous S/R levels (J16 style) or is a Pin with Div good enough for you? Obviously taking trades off previous S/R will improve your chances but this is not something that ...

Hi all I have a bit more time on my hands now to watch the lower timeframes. I would be interested to hear anyone's opinion of the EUR/JPY pin from this morning. Pros: Pin with RSI Div off top BB. Cons: The close could be stronger (lower) Prior ...

It's only the protectionist policies of the US and EU that make it expensive. If only they practised what they preached about free markets... everybody could eat quality meat
- Headless replied Jul 30, 2009
I agree with you about meat. I had the fortune to grow up in NZ where all the beef is produced naturally - 'free range' if you like. Animals live off a diet of grass, live in open paddocks and shelter under trees when necessary. I couldn't believe ...

It's all about cutting your losers and letting your winners run, and there is no better way to let a winner run than give it room to 'breathe' in a trending market. I am in this trade, a 'free trade' now with a small profit locked in. Look at the ...

I see absolutely no reason to close the GBPCHF trade early. Look at my chart below. Price has been in an uptrend since late December and there is all that lovely space above. You will NEVER catch the big moves closing trades early. Had you ...
