Is it possible then that one can trade the news as it is released and/or after the news has moved the market (if any movement occurs)? In other words, on trades such as the non-farm, after it does its up and down "dance", can one still make a profit ...

I believe the trend will change soon enough. Back around Easter, there was a lot of speculation that the usd was going to dominate and overpower the other currencies then the week after, the euro took off into orbit.

I wonder if we would expect to see a gap come Sunday in which the euro will be up by several pips? I'm sure the brokers know most traders are going short today and will probably turn the tables around soon. The mighty euro is destined to break 1.30!

I was wondering if tomorrow's speech by Bernanke will have any effect on the markets? By looking at the UK's number's it looks like it will be a good short, then a few hours later, if the dollar strengthens, it will bring down the gbp even more.

Thanks. You're right: I've been trading with what I think instead of trading with what's actually going on in front of me. One of my main faults is to swtich between timeframes (even while using the Brain System). I had been placing trades in longer ...

Does anyone think the bulls will take over in reagrds to the euro/usd? The trend on the daily chart looks strong . I made the mistake this morning of placing most of my eggs selling the usd/jpy and its on an upward trend! Bad way to start the day.
