I can only agree very much with what you are saying here heartstart. Your right, this is a unique thread and neither would i like to be responsible for jeopardizing its reputation or giving it a bad image. Although i must say that i didn't sign up ...

Been following this one too. The setup looks valid but like you were saying earlier the entry point is a bit later than what you may normally prefer. Thought i'd share my charts with you on this one as i think they might show why price is jolting ...

Were you actually in this trade Muhammad? Just wondered how you did/would of managed it. Did you get the chance to move s/l to break even or did the s/l take you out for a loss? Thanks, Leo

Muhammad how do you feel about taking trades in the opposite direction of a major move from the previous day(s)? similar to this U/JPY trade. I notice that often when a big move down occurs like we have here it creates a lot of 'space' or lack of ...

Sorry if i upset you, you seem quite defensive about that. I'm just the guy in the corner at the back voicing an opinion and a thought to see what your going to say about it. I'll will ask anything to try and get you folk to give an interesting view ...

I too would like to hear peoples thoughts on this regarding analyzing the retracement of a move. Perhaps more interestingly though it would be good to try and understand the above mentioned point in relation to "why do lots of folk in the room take ...

EUR/GBP — Starting to watch this setup more closely now as it develops. Price is coming back down from a decent S/R level at the thick white line, however the trade entry would be in-line with a lot of sideways price action from the end of ...

Thanks. I see what your saying. Confluence works wonders. I was just pondering though how some traders were taking what seemed to me like outrageous moves from this strategy, many of such trades broke through multiple S/R levels as well as pivot ...

Thanks again ZZ for the comments. Much appreciated. A quick question to all if that's alright. When looking and watching different setups play out it often seems that a good location to close out a trade is when it nearly reaches the SHI Channel, ...

USD/CAD Been in this one since earlier this morning. Perhaps at a good point now to take some profit, but downtrend looks good so might try and ride it down to the lower SHI Channel line. Any thoughts? Leo.

Yes i see what you mean. Decided to just close the USD/CHF trade for 31 pips as the EUR news came out. Still a real newbie in this yet, so im happy not to risk much and just take profits at the first reasonable opportunity. Leo

Thanks. Looks to be a similar setup on the EUR/CHF too, but i don't like the highlighted prior lows. Could you still short when price surpasses that lower aqua line? Or would that be too late do you think?

USD/CHF — Something i was looking at. Would it be a valid setup though as it has now broken out of the 60M SHI channel? Leo

Not seeing much in the way of good setups today. The best on offer at the moment seems to be in AUD/USD and USD/CAD. .....or maybe im just missing something elsewhere? In any case, im quite happy to sit and wait. Leo

I am following EUR/JPY as well, it has a similar setup. Quite new to this strategy so would appreciate all views and criticisms, especially about TP. Thanks, Leo

Thanks again for the generous explanations. I'm recognizing that this is a very objective strategy but at the same time it is a far cry from being completely free of all bias and a strategy lead by self ruling. Yet this is why i like it so much ...

ddaytrader, thanks for clearing up those queries in your recent posts, i really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. With your UCHF post i noticed a similar kind of setup with UCAD, but i measured out a much larger move as you can ...
